Roses are edible flowers. From ancient times they have appeared at feasting tables as bouquets and as food. The flavor of roses is varied as the colors. The sweet, tart or spicy petals are easy to use and popular additions to any kitchen. You do have to select them properly and prepare them correctly; however.

It was , uh very special. A bit too sweet for my taste (dunno if that was mainly the petals or the honey though)

it looks totally gross, at least the way I got it served. tastes better than it looks though :p

Now I do are warned about how it looks and tastes. Lol. I am not much fond of too sweet food/desserts. Still, if I'd see it somewhere on the menu, could be fun to just trying it out. Then I have at least experienced how rose petals taste. ;) :)
