Thanks for the testing, sweety....

What is the latest doctrinal question you have been wondering about?
When i need to ask doctrinal questions, i don't consider your sort, who seem more interested in your interpretation of God's word, than, what's actually said.

:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

I'm laughing so hard I can hardly breathe.

This from a woman who has not given one scriptural piece of evidence for her opinion but has openly stated she believes we have no free will solely from her observations.

Thanks for the laughs. Everyone needs a good belly laugh now and then.

Have a nice day.....
In heaven you'll like me.
Aww, what you said there is actually quite sweet, must say that now as the rest of this reply concerns the trolling and flaming activity infesting my post.

If any of you are genuinely Christian, not just one or two hyperactive trolls, do you ever consider what poor representatives of God's word you appear to be? You infest the posts of other people with your malice and spite, because so few are interested in yours.

Others are welcome to look through my back catalogue of comments etc for comparison, which won't reflect well on you. You desperately need to control discourse, by trying to make others reply within parameters you set. Typical troll/flamer behaviour and something else that's interesting, is CChat usually develops issues when i try to post a direct reply to your bilge. Doesn't happen any other time, Admin might want to take note, using a different browser this time.

Ooh! Immediate success, thought the usual browser is more vulnerable.

Can promise i'm not a grudge holder, if the problem's sorted, that's it as far as i'm concerned, done and dusted. People often confuse being easygoing with fluffiness, the kittens in my avatar are fluffy, i'm not.

Obviously, i'm still feeling a li'l cautious at the moment but hopeful, which is good.

Please give clear bible verses...

Gen 2:7 KJV And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

In the creation I see only 2 ingredients

Dust and breath

This resulted in a living soul

Man became a living soul.

You should search it on Google.

Gen 2:7 is breath of lives - plural" -and then find out what I am about to say is true.

The problem is that tradition sometimes trumps accuracy for translators.

Here is the problem:

............."and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life."

The Hebrew does not say that.

This is more accurate.,…

................"and breathed into his nostrils the breath of lives." It's plural!

The original state of Adam was unfallen. He was creasted without a sin nature.
Therefore?

God breathed into his nostrils both soul life (soul) and a human spirit!

That is why he baceme a living soul.
For a living soul, is a soul that is spiritually alive!
Alive - Having both soul and human spirit!

In man's fallen state he must become born again.
Born by the Holy Spirit begetting a human spirit.
Making the person into becoming a living soul!

Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God
unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but
the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying,
‘You must be born again.’ John 3:5-7

The first birth? We are born physically = body and soul.

(no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.)

First birth?
The mother breaks water (born of water).

Born again? The Spirit begets our human spirit= body, soul, and human spirit.

It is meant to be understood.

grace and peace ......

I'm still trying to work out what she thinks the problem is. She's yet to put out any evidence thinking everyone will see things the same way she does. <shrug>

So be it. :)

I think it is something cultural. Like we see in the US when a northerner moves to the south.
So many things seen as normal up north can be disliked by those grown up in the south.

Like sweet tea? Good Lord, the south puts a gallon of sugar to each teaspoon of tea!

I was once told that you do not order a tea with a meal.
You must ask for a 'sweet tea.'

Yes, we need to do what we can to keep the general direction of discussion going toward essential agreement/unity rather than succumbing to the temptation to be argumentative. I just had to apologize for not doing well enough myself, apparently.

It would be helpful in this regard for folks to provide quotes when accusing someone of saying something objectionable, because this should enable folks to clear up confusion and misunderstanding--and apologize when wrong.

Also, avoid veering off into ad hominem attacks, projection and quarrelling (cf. 1TM 6:3-4, 2TM 2:23, TIT 3:9-10, RM 16:17, 1CR 1:10, PHP 4:2). If a point cannot be made in 2 or 3 tries, move on.

Instead of adopting "either/or thinking" as our default position, try employing "both/and harmonization", which is often needed in order to sew Scripture together into one tapestry without cutting off parts.

Regarding Calvinism, consider whether it would be better to accentuate God’s all-lovingness instead of implying divine determinism of souls to hell (which may reflect hateful tendencies in our own fallen nature), so that we will not be guilty of blaspheming or insulting the righteousness of the HS, even implicitly.

Finally, persevere in being humble or teachable, admitting our fallibility, as well as in having saving faith in Jesus as Messiah and Lord.
This post is still relevant, unfortunately.

At least you show integrity in discussions always calling for unity which is what I desire as well unity in Christ as we are told
Ephesians 4:1-3:
"I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be humble and gentle, be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
