Hey! Good to meet you. Hope to get to know you better in the forums. What are some of your interests? You're from Germany...what is the weather there like right now? Here in TN, USA it's pretty warm and overcast today. Everything is getting very green.

Hey! The weather here is pretty warm too. A little bit rainy, but overall really beautiful. I like to bake, cook and I am currently learning how to sew.

You teach sewing?? I really enjoy it! I learned some basics, made a summer dress and clothes for babies and dolls.

Do you enjoy gardening? That's something else I love. I was planting today and it was so nice being out in the sunshine.

Thats nice. Do you teach for beginners?
I dont really do gardening. I dont have the time or place, but it fascinates me to think about seeing the things you plant grow and develope their beauty.

What kind of things do you start teaching them?

With most of them we started with a simple reversible tote bag to practice straight stitches. Then cooking aprons with a ruffle to teach hemming and gathering. Next I had them pick out a pattern to learn pattern reading, cutting out, and any new skills the pattern may include.

I learned sewing in a sewing course and we were taught the same things. But everytime I start a new sewing project, I find a new challenge. That's what makes sewing so exiting for me.

I'm considering renting a little building in our little town right next to the laundromat and starting a sewing shop where I can teach classes, sew for people, and maybe wash, dry, and fold their laundry for them. I'm excited if if works out!

What kind of things haven't you tried to sew yet? A sewing shop sounds awesome! I think that more people should try sewing, it's a really useful hobby.
My other hobbies are baking, reading and I started to crochet like a week ago. But I'm still a beginner and it can be really hard to learn all the things at the beginning. What are your hobbies?

I have always wanted to try sewing before my eyes got bad now if I tried it I could not see enough to do it but I respect the art of sewing
