Re the little red hen, the story is also about irresponsibility, and IMO pacifism is a form of
avoiding responsibility for the work that needs to be done to protect people from harm.

Do Mennonites take God's hell seriously? Do they affirm Paul's teaching in Romans 13:1-5?
What about the rather violent return of Jesus described in Revelation?
Do they realize that providing non-violent support for the military or police abets violence?
Are they grateful for God's blessings provided in the USA by means of violence?

I find that the command to do to others as I would want others to do to me is sufficient for me, as far as it depends upon me, to bring Kingdom peace and justice into any situation.

The book of revelation is not meant to be taken literally. There are many different interpretations of this book, depending on who you talk to about it. Revelation relatey it’s message through signs, symbols, dreams, and visions. I have a book that understands Jesus role in revelation to be non-violent. I accept that for you. I respect your right to differ brother.

Jesus,God The Word made flesh and who dwelt among us, was not a pacifist.

He directed his Disciples to buy a sword. Whatever they had to do,buy a sword.

When in the garden of Gethsemane he told Peter,those who live by the sword shall die by the sword,he wasn't referring to the Disciples he'd earlier instructed to buy swords.

He was referring to the Romans. Who lived by the sword of conquest and then occupation. As they were doing there.

And besides all that, Jesus had to be taken into custody. How else would the Lamb of God die so to take the world's sins to the cross?
Crucifixion is violent. And God predetermined it to happen to his Son.

We are told those who will not defend their house,family, from aggressors are worse than an unbeliever.

The thing about strong pacifism is,while they won't fight aggressors they will call for help more often than not. So that others will fight for them.

It's a reasonable deduction when Jesus as God of the Old Testament proved he was not a pacifist.
Nor were his Hebrew faithful in his service.
