What if the Pope they vote for is the false prophet that looks like a lamb spoken of in Revelation? How does that not concern Christians?

What if the Conclave where they are locked up into the room is foreshadowed in Noah being locked into the ark by God seven days before the flood begins, is that not of concern to Christians?

What if Samson pushing out the two pillars on a great sacrifice to Dagon (you know the pagan worship to Dagon, the priests wear that funny hat that the Pope wears) is a reference to this event. Is that not a concern to Christians?

When Elijah called down fire there were 850 false prophets all gathered together to a meeting that God called. When a person dies we say that "God called them home". At this great feast to Dagon there will be 850 false prophets gathered together. That could be a funeral of a Pope or that could be the Inauguration of a new Pope, but there are very few events that the Catholic church does where 850 false prophets from around the globe would be gathered. Is that not of interest to Christians?

Suppose the rich man that was dressed in fine linen and purple (exactly what this last Pope was wearing the day he died) who lived sumptuously (that means he lived like a king), suppose this is the rich man that dies at the same time as Lazarus. That would indicate that Lazarus is about to be raised from the dead, the rapture. Isn't that of interest to Christians?
1. indeed, we should be aware of that. my wife is big on today's news & how it affects present day events & future rapture events. we listen to amir tsarfati, jack hibbs, joan markel. you are well informed & updated to events. nice. i'm all set for anything to occur as i am a born again Christian. i just don't get involved in "what if's". you could teach others in your neighborhood. blessings to you.

As the saying goes, I'll bet you're fun at parties!

i'm at least, a bit surprised that the subject is even being discussed on a Christian site. i really don't know any Christians who care or talk about the pope or catholicism. in fact, it's hilarious that some catholics call themselves Christians! well, quite simply stated, if they are Christians, why are they calling themselves catholics?
Don't Pentecostals, Baptists, etc... all call themselves Christian as well as whatever denomination they are?

i don't know. what i'm saying is a born again Christian definitely is Christian. catholics definitely are not. not with all the made up prayers & practices they envelop. example: hail mary prayer, confessing sins to a priest & believing you are saved by works. baptist are Christian for sure. they are known for obeying God's word more than anyone.

"Catholic" means "Universal." They lay claim that they are the universal church.

Yup, you got to it first. Now we see who is the new Pope and which way the potential will cut for good or ill, praise Jesus.
It's so exciting!

My favorite Pope in History is Pope Gregory The Great who wrote to Augustine of Canterbury. Of the modern popes I really liked Pope John Paul II and I am thankful Pope Francis bridged the gap between Catholics and Protestants.

I'm not a big fan of any of the modern popes, I am not neccessarily anti-catholic, but let's just politely say I'm not a fan of what they produced in my lifetime. I am a big fan of history though, Pope Leo I was a gigaChad, I'd love to know what he said to Attila the Hun to get him to turn around instead of abolishing Western civilization in the cradle.

Pope Leo XIV! First American Pope!
From Chicago!!!

Lol neither. Just a Christian.

Seems sede vacante has been filled, lol wow, and we were literally just talking about the first Leo! Interesting name pick, an American too, that's great news for me in a secular sense, though I mean I'm skeptical of stuff that comes from Chicago. Either way though interesting with how this year is very transformative and God sets up the seats and takes them down and sets them up again. Interesting news and dynamic, lots of potentials here, praise Jesus.

My hope and prayer is he lives up to the Leo name, Leo for Lion, that the Lion of Judah side of Jesus is seen and he deals with the corruption and scandal that has rocked the Church of Rome.

We will see for him how much he lives up to the first Leo, but I think either way this is just another clear sign and blessing from God towards America, it's now indisputable that God is blessing America and for a reason too, not just the pomp and ceremony of it. So much God has blessed America with all these big moves happening in one single year. The potentials are a blessing themselves, but potential is only as good as what you make of it, we must make the most of the blessings God is openly giving us and that is the dominant theme to me, praise Jesus.

Very true, the twilight of America is over and now the Son is shining on it. :)
