And all for nothing. What they have now is just as bad. I wish those intelligent enough to support communism would explain why two countries paying the same percentage of tariffs is a bad thing? Except of course if one of the countries is communist and needs more money to support their nonsense.

As usual, the empty barrels making the most noise. Nothing concrete to offer. Just rollin down the hill clangin away. 
I have noticed that in this forum when someone cannot hold their own in a discussion they start insulting others. This keeps any actual intelligent discussion at bay and creates a platform for those who basically do not wish to actually exchange as there best offering is an opinion at best and just nonsense at worst.

Don't pat yourself on the back too much. I've been here a long time and had to apologize to others. The only ones who haven't are those who refuse to humble themselves.

I am neither Democrat or Republican. I would not vote Democrat though. Sadly there are but 2 parties so...left with that choice I guess you either vote or choose the lesser of what you are not really feeling all that fuzzy about.
I have seen plenty of craziness from the left....such as what has been allowed to go on in universities and California is an award winning looney bin run by all Democrats.
So....I guess we all will just have to wait and see.

There are some differences to please the base... which can be seen in the culture wars, so yes that is why they are opposite sides yet there are many areas where policy is the same.
Just think of it as the vampires fighting the werewolves. like a turf war, so while on the surface they may appear to have differences they only flaunt those differences to regain or maintain their part of the turf.
Probably the same in Canada.

Carney has a minority gov like the momma's boy before him. Quebec voted for him but Ontario was a big disappointment. Carney is a banker and apparently left England (his last gig) with bad reviews. I think people need to consider the current state of this world and that would include all the spiritual realities. People are deceived by many things including false promises.
What did Carney do right off before the election? Got rid of the carbon tax which most people hated. So they jumped ship thinking oh he is going to be the right person. Carney was hand picked by Trudeau and maneuvered into position. The schemes that go on behind the scenes would give nightmares and then they come out smiling and say how much they love their country.
Quite honestly I kind of shuddered when Trump said Carney is the right man for the job. What job exactly Mr Prez? What job?
