Alongside with the simple fact that I'm poor, I don't like to spend money because if you have any creativity at all you can be very romantic for very cheap. I personally like to cook and I'm pretty good at it. If I wanted to be romantic I would make a nice looking dinner, everything would have a mildly sweet flavor to it. I'd dim the lights, light a few candles, and probably play some light music on something of that sort. I am capable of eating mass quantities of food and not being weighed down by it so I would then be free to give her a warm oil massage. Yeah.. I'm that good. lol

Its not about how much money is spent, its all about the effort and thought which makes it more romantic. Would I choose a home cooked meal personally prepared for me over gourmet five course fine dining meal, YES, I would! Hands down!

The other day, a friend came by before going to school, so early in the morning just to drop off pancakes sausages and hot cocoa (no, he didnt cook it himself) but the thought that he came by, just to drop off my breakfast surprise, is so romantic.
