Tariffs on China are down from 145% to 30%. Sounds great, yeah Donald. But 30% tariffs are still ridiculously high. Even if manufacturing returns to the US, prices consumers will pay will still be high because manufacturing costs and labor are more expensive in the US. That's why so much of manufacturing left in the first place.

So American parents will have to buy less for their kids and Trump will use the tariff income for the maintenance of his Qatari bribe?
If it's not clear by now, it never will be: Donald loves money and the trappings of wealth above all else. More than the country, more than the people of this country, more than ethics or integrity, more than God. He worships at the altar of Mammon and that's all that matters to him.

Canadian money isn't even real. It's plastic. It's like monopoly money.
Monopoly money is paper. Canadian money is also paper. The problem up there, is that Trudeau sold all the Canadian gold reserves which, IMO, makes him a traitor.

"Trudeau’s decision to dump all Canadian gold holdings came just months after his election as PM in 2015.

As reported by CBC News, “the government of Canada has wound down its gold reserves to basically nothing after a multi-year strategy of selling them off in favor of hoarding other countries’ currencies instead.”

Why did he do this– especially so early in his tenure? It’s not as though the move could have been a spontaneous decision. There had to be serious preparation in advance for this to occur– yet the gold was gone four months into Trudeau’s tenure.

It is possible that the approval was made as a favor to the Chinese government? Could Mr. Trudeau’s altruism be pay-back for China’s assistance in a successful run for prime minister?"

I don't understand how he could be allowed to do that?

In other news, some democrats are not as opposed to Trumps policies as the communists in the party want to pretend they are.

If anyone is interested, here is where you can find an article on that. There are others as well

I just want to comment on the plastic paper because i agree with what you're saying, even though i know very little of Canada's politics. In fact it was @Kroogz who made me aware of what happened with the truckers in Canada when they had a strike.
I was there for about two weeks. I have a cousin who lives in Toronto.
During my visit there i noticed that the money was made of plastic and it had the Queen of England on it.
So we were joking with my cousin. "What kind of money is this? Is this a joke?"
It's not real -she said - it's like Monopoly money. :D

Oh...there are pieces of plastic in it I believe but not the entire bill I don't think? This is done to prevent a printing press in the basement LOL! And there are all the different colors.

Yeah Trudeau really showed his true colors with what he did to the truckers. Plus he left town. Coward and just plain nasty. I think he sealed his fate regarding the next election right there. I read alot of things from different news sources and I like to research things so I try to keep up with things.

That one did wake me out of my stupor. These guys, on the American side and the Canadian side are good Ole boys. Quiet, unassuming wouldn't hurt a fly. They made their voice heard, and the media and Government SHUT them down.....communist style.

The truckers? These are my friends. These are my family. These are people that I and MANY in my community dealt with on a daily basis.

They are some of the most humble and unassuming people I have ever met. And How they are portrayed and treated by the left makes me SICK. It's hard not to lose Grace for the left.

Doom! Gloom!

Boom.

Barclays no longer expects the U.S. economy to slip into a recession later this year and has revised up its growth forecasts, given signs of a de-escalation in U.S.-China trade tensions, the bank said in a note released late Thursday.

Barclays said it now expects the U.S. economy to grow 0.5% this year and 1.6% next year, up from previous forecasts of -0.3% and 1.5%, respectively.

Reduced uncertainty and an improved economic backdrop also led Barclays to lift its euro area growth expectations.

Things are certainly looking up for the US, not so for China. All those companies leaving China need more time. I doubt anyone will look at this pause as a reason to stop their move out of China. If trillion dollars of investment is coming to the US these people will not have any money left to invest in China.

I would say it is not good news for Iran either. Hamas, Hezbollar and the Houthis have all been squashed like bugs. Meanwhile Iran's economy is in a shambles and the Iranian people want peace with the US and Syria is now under the control of the US.

Likewise with Russia. The only chance they had was if China and Iran prevailed. If their allies fall, Russia will fall also. Russia does not have the economy to stand against NATO.

Nope they are like a cornered animal that can see that it will perish. They can't win, the only thing they can do to save face is to take down the US with them. Three horns, three superpowers being removed to make way for the Antichrist.

You are saying that China, Russia and Iran are three horns that are being removed to make way for the antiChrist. What is the scriptural basis for your belief?

The chances of them "taking down the US with them" as their economic power diminishes, is almost zero. You continue to imagine a world where children must hide under desks each day in school, to practice for a coming annihilation. Are you SDA? Mormon? JW? Southern Baptist?

What fuels such fears?

Daniel 7:8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

There are several interpretations, the one I think is best is that the Antichrist's kingdom will be divided into the ten regions the UN is now dividing the Earth up into. Each kingdom is considered a horn. India has a horn, we saw them just destroy Pakistan's air defense. But the Antichrist is called a "little horn" meaning little or small. I realize there are several Biblically valid interpretations concerning the Antichrist. I would not doubt that his lineage includes someone that would allow us to refer to him as "the assyrian" but I highly doubt that is a reference to a ruler of Syria or Iraq. No I think the best guess is that he will be a ruler in Europe. He can be a president, but he has to also be a prince or king. But here is the thing, he is a "small" horn compared to the three that are removed. A European leader would be considered a "small horn" compared to the US, China and Russia.

But that is not the only basis for this "educated guess". The other is many, many prophecies that indicate a time frame for this age is coming to an end. If the end of the age were still a hundred years away it would be different, but how is it that the US is not mentioned in Revelation (personally I think that The Great Babylon is a reference to the US being destroyed at the start of the seventieth week) and China is also not mentioned (though you can argue that the armies from the East are a reference). Russia is mentioned, they are Gog, but they lead an all or nothing attack on Israel in the Ezekiel 38 war and they are defeated. So those are three horns bigger than a European leader, say Emmanuel Macron (who is also a prince of Andorra). It would explain why they are not mentioned more, because they got removed to make way for the Antichrist.

The chances of them "taking down the US with them" as their economic power diminishes, is almost zero.
Ridiculous 100 well trained men could bring down the entire electric grid of the US for two years. That would require ten companies of ten men, properly armed to attack specific electric substations which are not fortified against such attacks. According to the US internal estimates such an event would cause 90% of Americans to die. And/Or we could see suitcase nukes set off in ten locations. This would require less than 100 men to pull off but would require access to these sophisticated bombs. We have been told by high level Russian defectors that these ten suitcase nukes are already in the US and have been here for over two decades. Then of course there is the nuclear Poseidon torpedo from Russian subs. We can't stop those. They create huge radioactive tsunamis that will heavily damage an area along our coastlines. 65% of all Americans live within 5 miles of the coast, so a coordinated attack like this would be utterly devastating and crippling.

But forget about these people, God can hit the US with a meteor that will do the same thing.

Since I believe that Revelation 18 refers to God's judgement on the US at the start of the seven year period commonly referred to as "the tribulation" I do not even factor in the economic power of our enemies.

You continue to imagine a world where children must hide under desks each day in school, to practice for a coming annihilation.
Hiding under a desk would be idiotic, nor have I ever suggested that would be a good tactic. The only reference I have made to a nuclear attack on the US is suitcase nukes since it is harder to pin those on a country. Those will take out about ten city blocks, a very small portion of a city the size of NYC, and for the rest of the kids in school it would be idiotic to be hiding under a desk. I have also mentioned the nuclear torpedos of Russia called "Poseidon" that cause a Tsunami. Again, if a Tsunami were coming hiding under a desk would be foolish for all but perhaps a very select few located in schools facing the ocean, in a classroom facing the ocean without enough time to get to the hallway so you can stand behind the wall.

Are you SDA? Mormon? JW? Southern Baptist?

What fuels such fears? No, No, No, simply a born again Christian who believes the word of God.
