I never thought of it that way that is a great way to view it. yes if we liken sin to the flesh it may make it easier to take notice of when we sin and not burden ourselves so much with the fact we do sin. it is human but what does it mean to be human well it means to be incompatable with God for one but once we are born again what does it mean then?

The wages of sin is death. Death to the soul. It can make a person unredeemable. That is one of the reasons God hates it so much.
It not only separates man from God but it corrupts the heart and inturn corrupts the soul. It's a slow progressing cancer that can infiltrate even the genetics of a person and be passed down to generations.
It is more than just disobedience to God. It is poison to the soul.
"And God saw all that he created was very good" as we read on we get to the sixth chapter "in his sight all that he saw was continuous evil". This is sin left unchecked the new testament describes it as lawlessness.
When we read the story of cain and able we can't escape the fact that God had taught his ways even back then. For he told cain to present his offering again accordingly and all would be well. But if he did not sin lays at his door...."heart". His refusal brought hatred for his brother which brought murder. Sin escalated.
The evil that God saw in chapter six was far more than disobedience it was a evil that generated and enticed Satan and his demons to join in the abomination causing even the bloodline to be corrupt. Read Genesis 3 where God addresses the serpent.
Satan has a seed.

Yes, there is a lot of learning from them, and if not willing to learn, then one can and does eventually go viral, I think evil depends on one, anyone going viral, over what I see as stress thought(s) over troubles happening to them or even others, that they appreciate in love and care for too.
So, I see whenever I begin to get stinking thinking again over anything bad happening, I see to stop, ask, receive from God comfort within trust to God Father in risen Son given me

I wanted to look at that "incompatibility with God" concept you mentioned. I think I understand what you mean, if you are referring to a holy God, set apart, different, but certainly not indifferent when it comes to created, humans. -For God so loved the world....
But yes, the spirit (God is spirit) and the flesh (man is flesh) are in some ways like oil and water, even when together in one container, wholly different because God is holy--different, set apart, set above.
To be born again, is to be born from above. His words then, leading up to that most famous verse about God sending His son, explained the concept better than I can now>>>
“I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born of water and spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must all be born from above.’ The wind blows wherever it will, and you hear the sound it makes, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
I believe him. I believe that to be born again is to be heaven-sent. This is our mission and purpose and His plan of deliverance for humanity.

Yes this is exactly what I mean with the incompatability with God as when we are living in the flesh before we come to God and he being that of the spirit and holy set apart from flesh and sin. I like how you refered to it as oil and water as well that is actually something I used to refer to as well
it is also good to note that the only way fire can exist with water is with oil if there is oil in water fire can stand on top of the water if we refer tp fire as the holy spirit then water as God and oil as us then all three can coexist.

Now, I saw a connecting that flesh does in sermons
Flesh connects in flesh by taking Oil and Water in a glass filled and seals the oil and water. Then shakes up the glass and it appears mixed and we the people get excited in our flesh bodies, I know I have, going out of there all pumped up. yet when I saw the glass put down and not being shaken up as was , the oil and water settled, I saw no connection anymore, it came back to being separated, And no Holy Fire, just flesh trying to do what is already done by Son for them to be new, still needing the Holy Fire, born again the Holy God's Spirit and Truth for them, By the done work of Son, amazing grace this is to stand in thankfully and seriously see, without emotions leading anymore, for me at least
God in truth, the Holy God of Son that is risen that separated sin from death for us to be thankful in and approach God Father free of charge to learn from God how to let go of sin without trying to do it anymore as have been taught to do by religion in our first birth, at least me in my growing up, Son's done work was/is never meant for anyone to continue to sin. seeing now presently what under Law does to all, at least did to me. Now, I see to be careful to not get puffed up over exciting things others get excited over.
That is what I think Jesus meant, when he said watch out for the Leaven of the Pharisees
Not only those, in anyone that gets me puffed up, I am seeing a redflag to be careful in where is this going, and what is the motive. For, I do not see emotions leading as good for me ever. I see emotions as well for me, when I follow in believe the truth of God he reconciled, forgave all then and there in Son's willing death alone. That is done left us the people to decide to believe God or not, and then be given new life from above, thank you Daddy, PaPa, Father.
God has never forsaken me and in truth will not or does not forsake anyone. Those, that think God does, has not yet been reveled to true God of love and mercy for them through
Son yet I have not always listened either, now am, not in my own first birth anymore, it is dead Romans 6:11-12 Standing in the present settled and ground seeing new in Luke 21:14-15 for me at least, thanking Father and Son forever for this reconciliation given before new life could ever be given to anyone and now is ready to be given that begins on day one of anyone that decides to believe God too

Forgiven by God through Son going to that cross willingly for us all to believe it or not\

Woe is me, a man of unclean lips, has got given the Holy Fire placed on my lips, What can one, anyone do, but reside from lying, cheating, stealing, defrauding, getting others to think I am someone, I am not anyone special ever, nor is anyone else, God having no respect to anyone as if one is better than another, we are equaled on the field in the one time death of Son, in that one time willing death, all got equaled, The first birth defeated that lead anyone first, only that first birth defeated as one and many individuals turn to God and become willing to God's will of love and mercy for all, not self any longer, and says God Your will not mine and then each person's water Baptism, that they chose to get (does not have to do it, chooses), from Father, Daddy, PaPa spiritually becomes real and troubles or not follow and we each go through the earth fire of corruption, unto the Holy Fire of Elohim (Family of God and Son as Won (One) to relax in and not be anybody better than anybody else.
