Did your reply include 1Cor. 12:13? If Paul had not said that, then I would agree that there is only WB,
but good luck getting the charismatics to agree!
However, I would still view WB as a symbolic rite portraying the burial and resurrection of Christ that is a good way/work
to confess faith Christ publicly (as I did), but can/should not be viewed as nullifying salvation by grace through faith per Eph. 2:8-10, because if it were required surely it would be stated as such throughout Paul's epistles.

You mean Paul’s explaination of unity in the body of Christ ?
“Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; to another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: but all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.”
1 Corinthians 12:4-13 KJV
this is your stance that there’s a second baptism ? Would you agree that the apostles who began baptizing were acting by the spirit when they baptized ?
In other words Was Philip operating by the spirit when he baptized this fellow in water ?
“Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.”
Acts 8:35-39 KJV
My point is everyone who ever baptized someone was operating by the Holy Ghost on the command of God who already established rhat they do nothing until they receives the spirit . The whole nt is accomplished by the spirit but through those faithful men. Baptism comes from here brother
“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
Matthew 28:18-20 KJV
It’s where the New Testament begins the spirit works through and in those who receive it many of them we’re called to baptize others called to preach the gospel others called to heal others called to be apostles teachers pastors ect ect baptism really is so basic
you believe this message
“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
and that he was buried,
and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”
1 Corinthians 15:3-4 KJV
baptism is built all around that doctrine . We get baptized in his name who died for our sins for remission of those sins
“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,
and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”
Acts 2:38 KJV
You have this atonement
“for this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”
Matthew 26:28
This doctrine
“Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
and that he was buried,”
this instruction based on those beliefs
“Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins”
then you have explainations of the inner workings of it remission of our sins through his death
“Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? ( for our sins )
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, ( baptism ) we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin.”
Romans 6:3-7 KJV
were supposed to believe these things about baptism that’s where the power of it is if we died with Christ in baptism to sin and were raised up with him to live a new life there’s power in believing that freedom but instead we argue about whether people should get baptized and about five baptisms ect ect it’s just big part of the singular doctrine of the gospel a basic doctrine.
There’s a lot more of course but remission of sins is about Jesus death and burial for our sins baptism is about that belief also that he died for our sins and was raised for our justification.
Here’s some more you’ll. Price fits right with Roman’s 6-8
“in whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh ( remission ) by the circumcision of Christ: buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;”
Colossians 2:11-13 KJV
ashen we get baptized in Jesus name there’s so much that is explained about what it means , that’s what we’re meant to believe it’s how faith works we believe when we get baptized our sinful self is dying with Jesus and being buried and raised up again after to a new identity the sons of god like Jesus was told when he was baptized
see above i Roman’s 6 and Colossians 2 how the person baptized is being u tied with or clothiers with Jesus in his death and resurrection ? This also fits with those things
“For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
…And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
Galatians 3:26-27, 29
Abraham father of many nations and Christ his seed of promise. Baptism is definately a singular doctrine but the Holy Ghost of course is within those baptizing and they are doing it by the spirit Christian’s do everything worthwhile by the spirit but it doesn’t create alternative doctrines
baptism for remission of sins in his name is a wonderful and informative and powerful study to embark on in the end I feel like people will conclude what Paul did that there’s “one lord one faith , one hope one mediator one spirit one baptism one God and one people
