Regardless, the issue of his salvation is totally unrelated to his decisions on other issues. There's already plenty written on this and he has expressed on several occasions what he believes is required for everlasting life.

I missed your comment in a year ago. I just joined this chat. What he has accomplished is dismantling the consumer financial protection board, which saved Americans tens of billions of dollars from improper financial transactionsn. He’s also dismantled the NIH, which will make it difficult for us to get proper medical research. He has carelessly slash the veterans administration. His overall aim is to cut as much as he can so that he can give the ultra wealthy a tax break. Make no mistake about it. Trump is on the side of the millionaires. Remember what Jesus told the wealthy young man “give away all your wealth and income and follow me.”

In Matthew 25 Jesus explains what it means to live in the kingdom of God. He tells us to feed the hungry give drink to the thirsty welcome the Stranger, give clothes to those who need clothes, care for the sick and visit the prisoners. As Christians, we should be pursuing these ideas. Jesus was apolitical. The manner in which we vote should reflect the kingdom values that Jesus talks about. We should encourage the government’s helping the poor. The government is definitely not the kingdom of God. The only stage one needs to be in as a Christian is that of committing one’s life to following Christ in all areas of his or her life. Have a blessed day.

That is a good start of course, Jesus modeled how the Father wants us to live and taught how He only did what He saw the Father do, He only said what He heard the Father say.
He also taught ALL things are new in Him, as we take ALL things above for guidance.

The VA is another organization with room to improve, the "retention bonus" has been abused, one could state they were looking for employment elsewhere and receive bonus to stay in the VA system.
Thank you heavenly Father for how you raise up and take down rulers that your perfect will be done.

I probably wouldn't have that much of a problem with the Donald if he hadn't used Christianity as a ruse to get elected. He's the one who made it about religion. Maga "apostles" and "prophets" are the ones preaching that the US was founded as a Christian nation and needs to be one again. Christian nationalists were the ones preaching at the Capitol on J6. So-called Christians are the ones behind most of Project 2025. If they want a Christian nation, fine, let's have one; but first they need to learn the true meaning of Christianity.

I wonder what percentage of the population who are able bodied and work less than 80 hours a month and are persistently on medicaid benefits.

I am sure it is at reaching epidemic levels.
It is about 5% of all medicaid recipients and less than 1% of the population.

I really wonder how much savings that will bring to the US Government, can we say negligible.

What I find impressive is how trickle down economics theory and tax cuts (Arthur Laffer theory) causing economic growth persists even after it has been completely discredited.

The USA wants to curtail spending, how about not funding foreign wars which have no bearing on USA security, an actual warning given by the authors of the Federalist Papers.

Medicaid is the fastest growing government program. It was extended under Obama and again under Biden. Also the percentage the federal government pays was increased greatly. States saw free money and took it. Only 10 red states didn't increase the program. It's a considerable chunk of money.

I am sure that in this modern day economic system the church has the means to feed all the hungry, that must be why the dole was started during the Great Depression.

That requires, realizing we are sinner confessing our sins repenting, and asking Jesus to be our Lord and Savior. And after that, it means following scripture. Scripture asked us to feed the hungry give water to the thirsty, provide the needs of the sick. This is in Matthew five. Trump‘s policies kicking people off of Medicaid is not in alignment with these kingdom goals.

The scripture also says to judge not lest ye be judged for with what judgement you judge you shall be judged. So do all these ones on this forum who are judging Donald Trump feel the need for forgiveness?

It seems to me if you have done this publicly on this forum then confessing your sins and asking for forgiveness should also be done publicly on this forum.

The only issue is if there is fraud or if you prefer a government to not fund health care then that can be choice made by a populace through the ballot box, but that will not look too pretty.

On the other hand...
The U.S. has spent an estimated $8 trillion on the post-9/11 wars (Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, etc.) including direct war appropriations, war-related Pentagon budget increases, veteran care, and future obligations. This figure doesn't include other significant costs like homeland security and foreign assistance spending.

It is a big chunk of money for a lot of reasons not just fraud.

I don't disagree that great amounts of America's wealth has been squandered in a myriad of ways. Neither is there waste to be found in healthcare alone. All waste, fraud, and abuse should be weeded out. And regardless of where one starts, there will be pushback at every turn. Personally, I'm in favor of 1% annual reductions on all spending until a surplus is achieved.

Every single Yankee President makes it about Christianity. Not one of them have ever claimed to be an atheist that I know of. Even the daggon Clintons claim to be born again Christians. lol
