Donald might be able to do something productive but for one thing: He suffers from magical thinking. He has a disconnect between what he thinks is possible and what is actually possible. It will continue to cause him to overreach and act irrationally until he comes to grip with the reality that just thinking something and saying it doesn't make it magically happen. There has to be planning and a strategy and people who know what they're doing to help him. Unfortunately for the country, I really don't see him changing; he would need years of intensive therapy.
A Christian knows that in Christ ALL things are possible in Him and ALL means ALL.

As for voting for the lesser of two evils you have absolutely, unequivocally, voted for the lesser of two evils EVERY single time you have voted! It will always be that way until Jesus Christ Returns. We can only vote for the platform of the party, and pray for those in office.

LOL...........I have to laugh guy...........LOL Aren't you the one who announced last year on here that you ended up homeless. Not to shame you but to point out that you will proudly exclaim that folks who believe in a flat earth have no credibility with you. Then you are bold enough to say that someone who has a track record of actually making and hitting some goals is deficient. By the very measure you mete out it makes it really hard to take you serious in any shape or form.

Still, not the greatest fix. He's been using the military on US soil to get it done; that's what we have the national guard for. If people get used to the idea of having the military solve our domestic problems, where does it stop? Donald has a military parade scheduled in DC for his birthday; the kind of thing you only see in dictatorships. As a Christian, I'd like to see politicians finding better ways to let more people in legally, not kick them out.
I'd give the Donald credit if for once he'd do something by legal means. Nearly everything he's supposedly accomplished is smoke and mirrors; it comes with illegal strings attached. I'm not going to cheer him for that. He has the House and the Senate, let them pass legislation that will accomplish what what he wants legally. But he's too impatient for that; he'd rather sit in the oval office and sign illegal and unconstitutional executive orders.
What's really hilarious is how Alex Jones has reversed course. He used to rant and rave about the government using the military on US soil; how they were going to disappear people to secret concentration camps; and etc. Now he's praising the Donald for using the military to arrest people on US soil.
I see the problem here, ResidentAlien needs his posts translated from his alien language (Remember when the Aliens had a book "How to Serve Man", same idea).

Not so the Constitution empowers Congress to "execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel invasions". Over a period of time from 1792-1807 legislation was passed starting with the Calling Forth Act and culminating in the Insurrection Act of 1807. Giving the President the power to use federal troops under certain circumstances.
When states and local authorities pass legislation in conflict with federal law. That is the textbook definition of insurrection. States and cities passing safe harbor laws and calling themselves refuge states or cities. Doing so in the face of federal law allows the President under the Insurrection Act to call up federal troops and use them for the execution of federal law. See Civil War and aftermath for example. If states or cities decide to use local law enforcement for the impediment of federal law the President is empowered to use federal troops for enforcement. See Civil Rights and desegregation of schools for examples.
The courts have ruled that the Posse Comitatus Act does not allow for troops to be used in direct action. However, it does allow for federal troops to be used in indirect action such as logistics and support. So federal troops can be used for transportation and other means than arrest and detaining. So he is acting within the constitution and the power it affords him.
It's amazing that the approval rating isn't 90-95%. Why flee a country only to make it like what you fled from?
But the left does it. They flee from their wrecked states only to wreck the state they moved to.
Seems like the courts can't get Trump to obey, even if they DO sanction him. He’s picking up people off the street and deporting them without due process like a third-world dictator. He’s probably not worried about being fined OR going to jail. Sigh.
I read the article and not sure what benefits are being cut since the budget was raised by 4%. They are cutting jobs or personnel is what they are doing. This won't slow down vets healthcare because if the time frame that they can be seen for a problem is longer than 20 days for primary care or 28 days for specialty care it makes them automatically eligible for the community care program. Which allows them to see outside specialist or doctors so they can receive healthcare in a timely fashion.

- The veteran resides in a state or territory without a full-service VA facility, and the VA cannot schedule an appointment within required wait time or drive time standards (20 days for primary care, 28 days for specialty care, or travel distances of more than 30 or 60 minutes)
- VA care does not meet quality benchmarks."
