Help me, show me scripture backing up what you say to prove it's not a lie. Thank you in advance.
Alright, but this will require you doing your part in this. You have to do some of your own homework rather than to sit back and deny, deny and deny like some in here have done without ever going back and checking it all out for themselves.
The Gospel of the Kingdom requires effort on the part of those who are under it, both to acquire it AND to retain it:
Matthew 24:13-14
13 But he that shall
endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this
gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Compare the above
Gospel of the Kingdom with this from Paul:
Ephesians 1:13-14
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth,
the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were
sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is
the earnest of our
inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
So, what about the Kingdom Gospel and one of its key, defining features as defined by James:
James 2:24 Ye see then how that
by works a man is justified, and
not by faith only.
To whom was James speaking?
James 1:1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ,
to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.
That is not to YOU nor to ME, for if we BOTH be in Christ Jesus and are a part of His body:
Romans 3:27-28
27 Where is
boasting then?
It is excluded. By what law? of
works? Nay: but
by the law of faith.
28 Therefore
we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
The Bible never contradicts itself, but it does say different things to different people at different times. Some here don't like that fact, but there it is. Rightly dividing the word of truth isn't a matter of dividing between truth and falsehood. No. Rightly dividing truth is dividing truth from truth. The prophets and apostles taught ONLY what is true, but not all those truth can possibly apply to us today. If that were not the case, then you would be running out to offer up animal sacrifices for your sins on a routine basis, as we all would be doing, but we are not bound by that truth, which was true for those people back then at that time.
Most would say that they would not go out and stone a homosexual because they rightly divide the word of Truth, but when they fail to apply that same recognition for division because it's within the confines of what is called the "New Testament," that's a failure for remaining consistent. I'm not going out and looking for the mark of the beast today because, by rightly dividing the word of truth, it's ludicrous for me to do so, just as I am not looking to purchase a lamb or bull to sacrifice for my sins.
2 Timothy 2:11-13
11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
13
If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
So, what happens to those who later decide that they want to join some cult or some other belief system, or simply say that they no longer believe?
1 Corinthians 3:10-15
10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12 Now
if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13
Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because
it shall be revealed by fire; and
the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive
a reward.
15
If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
See that? Reward is treasures in Heaven , not a matter of loss of salvation if truly received at some point on one's past.
Ephesians 1:3-6
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6 To the praise of the glory of his grace,
wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
Colossians 2:10-15
10 And
ye are complete in him, which
is the head of all principality and power:
11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in
putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him
through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
13 And
you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him,
having forgiven you all trespasses;
14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
None of the eleven preached this. Only Paul. You saw where James wrote to Israel that they were not justified by faith since their faith was required to be coupled with works. Paul, on the other hand laid down no such requirement because the truth that applies to us today did not apply to them back then. The fall of Israel through the stoning of Stephen brought about this dispensation of grace for Gentiles.
However, replacement theology proponents continue to parrot the same old worn out narratives that lay aside these facts.
Now, what have you studied from this and gleaned from it?
