Have you ever seen "Contact"?

Long time ago but if I remember right there is a guy who pretends to be very religious, but then very quickly ends up in bed with the main protagonist.

My opinion is a movie it just a movie.

It isn't. I'm used to work as a projectionist in a movie theater and I'm very sure that there are movies that are somehow “influenced" by evil.

Besides of that, how can we have fun watching something that the Lord abhors?

I can't remember of the exact phrase right now, but I meant there is a Bible verse that says that we should not hold anything reprehensible before our eyes.

i don't know about evil spells.

but, the Word is very clear about witchcraft. and though harry potter is about wizards, it is still witchcraft,

black magic or white magic, it is still bad.

I have a huge dvd/bluray collection my wife and I built for many years. I also like video games. Two TV's. Living room and beadroom. I stream also. Never understood how someone can watch a movie on a cell phone.

I remember the youngest boy quit going to church because the preacher told him to burn his comic books. A van came a picked up kids for church. The wife and I didnt go but thought it was good for them to go. Moral of the story, seeing evil in everything is why some dont seek the Lord. It was a preacher on SBN that was going on about Harry Potter using "real magic spells" in the movies.

I've made two comments on this christian site. I'm already being harassed, and for nothing more than what should be obvious to any spirit led believer. No one said anything about the scriptures I quoted. Just, watch out for Tom, he wants to take all the fun out of life. If it brings you closer to Christ, yes.

I looked it up on wikipedia. Gee, that was a waste of time. Every single plot element was old and predictable.

The guy the main character meets is actually a hallucination. The main character is really the one infected with the alien parasite. The last two survivors tried to kill each other because each thought the other was infected. Main character finally escapes, but the place main character is escaping to is already infested with more alien parasites. Every single plot element was a retread of... Just... SO MANY other science fiction shows, books and games.

Pretty sure there's nothing demonic about it, but you ain't missing a thing if you don't watch it. Nothing at all to see here.

Its very demonic. The parasite is not as it appears and is very Gigeresque. I recommend not seeing it tho lest you fill yourself with darkness:

Until that situation becomes a reality, I will use the phone in as productive a way as possible. I don't own a TV or a computer, or even a stereo for that matter.

Alien3 reverses some of this with eggs on board Sulaco, and Ripley gets one inside her, but she not only helps kill the Xeno Runner, she sacrifices herself in cruciform symbol as she falls into lead melts to kill the Queen to save the Universe from these monsters.
Alien Ressurection, she is ressurected as a clone, and in that despite feeling a connection to the Aliens, decides to help the human crew crash the Military Vessel and destroy all of them. Prometheus they discover the origins of this in black goo, and Elizabeth E. Shaw does what she can to keep people from planet and triumphs over the Engineer/ Giant.
Alien Covenant is where is gets murky, they defeated the Xenomrophs, but David Weyland, aka the devil, ends up escaping and planning ill for the Colonists.
Alien Romulus Rain and Andy destroy the Xenomorphs and survive.

You are reading way too much into this.

The devil literally is not in these movies.

The aliens are never evil. They are simply animals. Apex predators, very good at killing, but neither good nor evil.

ugh I hate when studios decide to go with the "humanity is the worst thing ever and we should just be wiped out for the greater good" narrative. It's so overdone and boring, not to mention ridiculous and untrue.
