Trump looks like he is capitulating in redirecting ICE away from agriculture and hospitiality; the protesters are saying "See! We were right all along!".
The idea that some economic sectors are dependent on alien labor has been used as an EXCUSE to justify the mass-presence of illegal aliens for way too long. If American industries are dependent on exploiting foreign laborers then maybe we need to re-think how those industries work in the first place. The whole "We can't get Americans to do the work" line is just a story and I'm sick of hearing it over and over and over again.
NY was using hotels basically as migrant storage facilities... I'm not even sure that I don't WANT those "businesses" to fail; but I definitely don't care if they do.
Agriculture is a different beast. We all want affordable food; but the idea that we just can't do it without mass-migration is the foundational lie that allows RINOs to go under the radar.

I certainly will follow how it develops; but it is indeed the MSM who exploited a vague statement by Trump concerning the affected sectors and that "change is coming soon". We will see exactly what these "changes" are; but what is revealed by these stories is that they are promoting their 'protests' as effective- meaning they will be pushing for increased participation based on the premise that they were successful.
I'm amazed that we have a story about an real assassin this time, instead of another hemp-bracelet guy. He supposedly voted for Trump; and the so-called "manifesto" indicates he was targeting abortionists and abortion promoters; yet, he had "No kings" flyers and killed the lady that just compromised party lines, so... who knows what he was actually doing.
