The Bible is a fascinating and magnificent collection of 66 books detailing the lives of them who were inspired by the Spirit of the living God and who's encounters with the Spirit of the living God is a never ending river of knowledge and mysteries with adventures in the
past, present and future worlds.
In this thread as permitted
I will post certain things from the magnificent Bible that has caught my eye and intrigued my curiosity to
see what you have to say about it
And get your perspective and point of view concerning it.

Jeremiah (7:18; 44:17-19, 25)
Does not name the name, yet from scripture I get this is talking about a Pagan Queen
that has taken (Wants to take) the place of God in the temple that will be seen before the end. Watch out for, straining out gnats and being too literal, we swallow camels, a parable of Jesus. Turn to Father in risen Son for you presently, that is the present left in the risen Son, I see to stand in, (Col 1:21-23), even if I do not understand something yet and if get made aware, then right on, if not I see to accept God knows best, Father knows best, I trust God in, whether or not to share anymore than what is needed at the present second. Father and Son won for us all to rest in and say, thank you in all things good or bad to me anyways, thanks

Now this could be Jezebel, that got ate up by the dogs, when Elijah, went up against her
However, this Queen of Heaven talked of is to be refused and seen through to not give any pledges to, Thank you. A simple yes is good enough, any pledges come from evil

The NIV comment on Jer. 7:18 explains that the title Queen of Heaven refers to the Babylonian goddess Ishtar.

It's Ishtar; or at least the cake ritual and title suggest it is Ishtar. Regardless, it is a pagan astrological deity/fallen angel/demon.

Israel and Judah fell into idolatry; and took on the customs of the Assyrian empire. In Ezekiel's visions he saw women "weeping for Tammuz" (who was the husband of Ishtar, and took her place in the underworld according to the ancient tradition-which is why they weep).

clearly the reference is idolatry and mentioning a female false diety particularly

“The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭7:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Just one of Gods many grievances for Israel’s worshipping of false dieties of the nations around her. One of thier many provocations of his wrath

God has not revealed to me yet
Who is this queen of heaven.
But I'm feeling that there is lot more to it
Then is written in the Bible
And that you all are saying about it.
But maybe not. That's why I posted it see what y'all had to say about it.

It is written
That the Jews even made vows
To this queen of heaven.

That's very serious.

wife of Baal, a canaanite goddess.

throughout Jeremiah 7 God is rebuking them for worshipping other gods.

c.f.e. 1 Kings 15:13
Do you believe these are real gods
Not gods of stone and wood?
But real gods that came from heaven?

the names are semetic and i am presuming you only read the Bible in English.

so yes, the name ishtar is in the scriptures, for example here:

Judges 3:7
So the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD.
They forgot the LORD their God, and served the Baals and Asherahs.

there is no other God but one.

these are idols.

worship of eostare, called 'queen of heaven' in many canaanite texts, involved a wooden pole - - kjv ubiquitously mistranslates her name as 'grove' - - she is mentioned 40 times in the OT.
Israel even put an östern pole in the temple ((2 Kings 21:7)) - here the mistransltion is apparent, because how do you plant a grove of trees inside Solomons temple lol.

perhaps, well, probably certainly, the fallen angels had to do with this.
