With the new consoles coming out soon, I was wondering if anyone is excited? I've been an Xbox gamer since they first came out in 2001. My brother and his friends and I would play Halo CE and Madden all the time. I loved playing Halo all the way through Halo Reach, then I went back to single player games. I think I'm going to get back into online gaming with the new Xbox Series X or S whichever one I get. I'm also working on my old school gaming collection. I still have my Xbox 360 and PS2, though all I game on these days is my Xbox One S. I play Halo MCC, Skyrim, and Witcher 3. I'm not sure when I'll be getting the new Xbox, but I know I will get it. What about you guys? What games do you play?

Hello! Yes! I love video games. In terms of consoles, I've always been partial to Nintendo myself but one of my brothers likes Xbox and has an Xbox one. I have a Switch currently (the Zelda one! I love it...lol) my favorite way to play though is on my PC. Console wise I play....Zelda mostly of course lol. But I enjoy playing Sonic Racing and Mario kart with my son and daughter.

I love RPGs like Kingdom Come (Haven't gotten the new one though but really want it! Looks sick!). I used to love Dragon Age but the new one seems meh at best. I also really like RTS games like Total War. Total War Medieval II is one of my favorite games of all time - Crusades expansion!

You mentioned Skyrim in your post. I've ALWAYS wanted to play Skyrim but for some reason I just haven't...yet. Can't really explain why lol. If I had to choose a "favorite" game of all time (which is VERY tough because I love Zelda - specifically Majoras Mask but really all of them) I'd probably say The Elder Scrolls Morrowind. The music, gameplay, replayability....it's just awesome. It was the first open world game I ever played and it's just made a huge impression on me.

I could talk video games all day haha but I'll end there I guess. Great thread - I got excited to reply!! Haha.

My hubby is going to b away for most of next month so I'm gonna b bored and lonely , I intend to distract myself with Outer World's and No Man's Sky . Don't often play games , I have to reeeeally like the game in order to invest my time , loved all the Elder Scrolls games and played them for hundreds of hours , also love the Civilisation games and the Heroes of Might and Magic games . One or two others also , but mostly I don't play , not unless I know I have lots of free time which I normally don't . Looking forward to those two though .

As long as you enjoy them, it doesn't matter how objectively "good" you are. My aunt Diane gets real tense on the original Mario Bros, to the point where you can hear the controller creaking... But she likes playing it. (For as long as the controller holds out.)

Was a major gamer back in the day. At my Youth Group where I was Youth Leader I played so much Halo with friends. My Pastor was a major gamer, so we played all the time.

My reality is that I virtually have no free time to play video games. (Unless CandyLand, Monster Truck Smash, or Hot Lava Couch count?) Two kids, pointing out others flaws here I deem unacceptable, perfecting my sarcasm, a GF, my fam, a house to maintain and jobs take all of my real life time.

I get maybe a few hrs a month to game IF I’m lucky.
I play Chess. (It’s not digital so know one enjoys it anymore)


I know my life isn’t about gaming. ♟

Yes , u have to b careful , if a game is just too much fun it can take over all of your free time ! Morrowind and Heroes of Might and Magic 2+3 and Civilization 2 my guilty pleasures but that was years ago . Only play a few hours a week now , stating Outer World's today , hopefully , after I've done my chores and died my grey hairs . Got my priorities right .

Just be careful to not let your freighter capacity outpace your weapon capacity. If you don't have enough guns to protect your goods, the pirates will swarm you like mosquitoes.

Get a few sentinel ships, the ones with six turrets a piece. Outfit them with all lasers, because then they will stop shooting instantly when an enemy ship becomes incapacitated, without killing it.

Take them to a pirate system, and park them way off to the side.

Use your own ship to draw a pirate ship over to them.

After the enemy ship is incapacitated, capture it. Rinse and repeat until your capital ship does not have enough crew to capture any more. Take your fleet to a star base and sell it off.

ooh. *rubs hands together* i have around 20 mil cash and my mule with around 15 mil in upgrades, it is a BEAST. i have 9 fuel tanks... long journeys easy.
basic specs from memory:
(i want the heavy warship, b-? )
diamond hai regenerator.
3 hai turrets (for the tracking speed)
best hai missile defense turret.
ion cannon? the one that vanishes their battery.

currently trying to finish the remnant story

how to park ships tho? i cannot figure it out. cps lk is very handy though. i like to wait in a republic or fw planet bordering a pirate and loot leftovers. i found an argosy or two, a couple hauler customized, and one bastion worth 3-4 mil.

You park ships at a port, in the menu where you refit them.

No idea about the world ship. I used a mod that put the Normandy in the game, along with a little storyline where you acquire it. Normandy as in the ship from the mass effect games.
