WE CAN ACCORDING TO HIS WORD.

Acts 2:38-39

King James Version

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

ITS FOR ALL.
Then why are you asking me?

You said this right?????

"Haidabo said:
The Plight of The New Christian

So now you have said the sinner's prayer.
And you said you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
You asked Jesus into your heart. You confessed with your mouth
that you believed upon his name or by whatever doctrine you
believe you have became saved by
...

You cannot get rid of your sins.
So there is no "WE" in you and I."

Looks to me like you think there are many ways to be saved!!

FYI, sin separates us from GOD, if a person what's to be reborn they have to get rid of them and JESUS needs to fill them with the Holy Ghost. Just like Acts 2:38 and what JESUS says in John 3:5.

If you have not been baptized in JESUS name, you need to hear it.

Just planting seeds.

What seeds are you planting?
I'm sorry if I don't have much tact, retired law enforcement it's not good and working on it. Please forgive me.

Seeds on how HIS WORD says how we are to get on the straight and narrow path.

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Acts 2:38-39
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Mark 16:16-17
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

In the book of Acts you will see those who were saved with the foundation of the verse above in Acts 2:38-41, 8:12-18, 9:17-18, 10:43-48, 19:1-6, 22:16.

Acts 2:38-39 (Jewish) The group did not receive the Holy Ghost the moment they believed in Jesus. However, they were told they could expect the Holy Ghost at some point.

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Acts 8:12-17 (Samaritans)
But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.
Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:
(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

Acts 10:43-48 (Gentiles)
43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

Acts 11:13-14
And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter;
Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.

Acts 19:2-6 (Disciples who did not realize they had to water baptized in Jesus name)
He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.
Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

Acts 22:14-16 (Paul's water baptism)
And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth.
For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.
And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

I would like to learn your line of reasoning.

The wonderfulness of God
is a spring of life
rushing out
of the
depths of my soul.
Bringing forth
the Spirit
of joy
that nourishes
my heart
in the
fullness
of His love.

Hallelujah!
This must be some kind of miracle I’ve never seen in 3 years that I’ve been here.
A reversed ban!

Carry on friend !

Ride on over to the Israel thread. You'll see why he was banned and he's about to be banned again. Threatening people, snooping around to get information to use against people. He's a real tool, trust me.

Not sure who this man is but i would forgive him in things you and i might disagree with.
I try take the positive things out of people because we're all flawed.
Not sure what he's doing to trigger a ban or to even get a ban reversal but what he says here in these 'poems' i really like.
Everywhere else, i forgive. Maybe he's looking for a hug?

He's looking for a kick in the behind and he's about to get it!! Sorry, but this is a troll. Just read the last two pages of the thread and you will see what I mean. He snooped on my page and in my threads and started making nasty comments and threatening comments. He's a troll. He said he doesn't believe the Bible, then says he has "special powers". Anyhow you can make up your own mind. Don't just take my word. But I expect he will be banned again.

@Haidabo do you believe the Bible is the inspired word of God?

Also, what are your special powers?

The last comment I read of Haidabo's in that thread was, "The Holy Spirit told me to ask you (something something)" and that raised an eyebrow (that the Holy Spirit would be any sort of snarky), but I have yet to pick the exchange up from there. I must've missed the ban, or I would've gone back to see where it might've been triggered.

I get ya. Today is a new day and holding on to the good and forgetting the bad and all. I've adopted a similar approach. But I can't say I don't check for a bit of growth from the trial. I mean, like, not necessarily coming back and publicly acknowledging the wrong but at least not continuing in that particular think as a 'new man,' you know? It's the hope of the always present possibility that generates that outlook and the rouse of that defers it.

Do you really think there are MANY ways to be saved?

I was sharing HIS word how to be reborn, have you ever seen those scriptures?

That is the most important thing right!

I'm not very good with poems even in my native language but i always sing to God quietly in my spirit.
Every day!
It's the best thing.
