I have just learned something.

There is a difference between a sin and an accident. I mean, I knew there was, but I see it.

A sin is when you know to do right and you don't, which is deliberate. And an accident is just that, an accident.

It is like when a child drops a glass, and say, ''OOPS.'' It would be very wrong for a parent to come down hard on the child who didn't mean to do it.

But if the mom says, ''Don't touch,'' and the child knows better, then it becomes a sin.

But God knows to whom he will impute sin and not.

So a parent should also be fair in their judgement towards their children also.

Sin is deliberate, but accidents simply happen. Oops!

sin is more then doing what you have been forbidden.

it is saying "you have not right to keep me from doing this thing I feel like doing. it is not wrong" and throwing the glass down intentionally out of rebellion and unrepentantally spitting in your Father's face and stomping out the door in a quest to fulfill your other lusts.
 
"When a person commits a violation and sins unintentionally in regard to any of the LORD's holy things, he is to bring to the LORD as a penalty a ram from the flock, one without defect and of the proper value in silver, according to the sanctuary shekel. It is a guilt offering. - Leviticus 5:15 NIV



And there you have it...there are NO accidental sins. You must repent regardless of whether you thought about it first or not. No freebies, Ramon!

This is amazing that you cannot even see this.

A sin is never accidental. But accidents do happen. In the case a child walks over a cord and something falls. Why should a parent spank him for the accident?

This is just amazing. Incredible actually.

If a parent punishes a child for an accident, that is child abuse and has nothing to do with sins.

That is what I am saying, as simple as that, but some do, and I have seen it.

This is not discipline.

I think that a sin is more than an accident, because before we know Jesus or what bible say we sin and when we read bible then we know that we were having sins and then we repent fo what we did, so i think that a sin is always a sin and not an accident.

Haha. This is a very simple thing. Really.

We know that part. But we are talking about the difference between sin and accidents.
 
what are the two Laws that should never be broken?

Matthew 22:37-40
New King James Version (NKJV)
37 Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

can you intentionally or unintentionally NOT love God with all your heart, soul and mind? Do you love your neighbor as yourself?

Do you pray that God help you if you don't or do you say to yourself you don't have to or deny that you are a transgressor?
 
ah ok, i understand, so i think it would be nice to know what is a sin according to bible, i dont know if the word "sin" is greek or hebrew or what....do you know Ramon?
 
Romans 8

Well, at one point I did read some in Greek, but the word was not ''sin'' it was ''misses.'' And that is how it is referred to in the NT.

But zero gave us the thing about accidental sins. Or unknowingly sinning, but I said there is no accidental sin, which was not correct. I had forgotten that.

Oh one more thing, I was thinking about if you accidently killed someone, a sin?
