I can think of only one passage that pertains to this question:

[Rom. 13:1-5, Tit. 3:1] Those who stop reading the Romans passage at verse two might misinterpret what it means. The reason for obedience should not only be fear of punishment but also because it is morally right.

TOJ #171: Evil-doers hate/avoid the light of GW. [John 3:19-20] Atheists hate God’s truth because it exposes their sinful attitudes and actions. Often they seek to justify or excuse their avoidance by noting the sins of so-called Christians, as though God will not judge them, too. Jesus is that light personified {John 7:7}. (See TOJ #170 & #186.)
TOP #169: Find out what pleases God, which is radiating the light of His Word. [Eph. 5:10&17] This is the opposite way of stating TOP #165. The way to please God is by exposing the deeds of darkness, although they are shameful to mention (Eph. 5:11-12). Paul connected light with awaking from the dead and living wisely (Eph. 5:14-17a). Jesus taught Christians to be the light of the world (Matt. 5:14-16).
The current system of criminal justice in this country (U.S.) sometime seems to be more criminal than just. If I could, I would try to reform the system in the following way. The key element in my suggestion is for special federal courts to assess a monetary restitution and identify the victim(s) for every felony crime, including murder.
The punishment for people convicted of crimes would be to work for the minimum wage ten hours per day and six days per week. Their wages would be garnisheed and a portion sent to their victim(s) until the restitution was paid. Of course, no one could pay the penalty from other funds, so the length of the sentence is determined automatically.
This system eliminates plea-bargaining, parole, innocent by reason of insanity and death row. It does not eliminate the need for lawyers, but their role would be changed to determining guilt and the just consequence/ restitution. Anyone who intentionally withheld information pertinent to establishing the truth and a fair penalty would be culpable of a crime.
How am I doing so far?
The intent of this system is to maximize the probability of reforming sane criminals. [Note: Those who are evaluated and determined to have a mental illness such as paranoid schizophrenia would be placed in mental institutions for humane or compassionate therapy.]
The assessed restitution would be minimal on the assumption that the prisoner would reform until their behavior indicates otherwise.
To the initial restitution would be added a uniform (system-wide) surcharge (based on the length of the sentence) to partially recover the costs involved in rehabilitating a prisoner: food, lodging, job training, counseling, supervision, etc. Ten percent of the surcharge would be put in a savings account, which the prisoner would be able to access when he/she is discharged.
The living situation would approximate as close as practical what the prisoner would need to function as a law-abiding citizen, including an efficiency apartment type of cell, so that the prisoner would do his/her own cooking and laundry. If a prisoner refused to work, then he/she would not be paid and thus the sentence would be lengthened.
This system applies the principle of logical consequences.
I think something like this is being done in some states, but I am not sure where.

Sadly i think our democracy prevents it in any official or real way . Would be nice and correct biblically but anytime a small minority wants to and there is a small minority who do want that in politics .
everyone else the large majority , who doesn’t believe in gods ways or want them freaks out and says “ nope …..those religious nuts “and then our government moves further and further away from what he said rather than moving closer
In the sixties there was a majority and so society really was much more morally based and openly talked aboit gods ideas in scripture even our government

Homosexuality used to be illegal in most areas and the majority of America actually thought what it says there. It’s why gays have had such a hard time and taken so long until recently really Obamas executive order to have thier marriage rights and everything . That’s not how it was it progressed to that moving further and further away from gods word.
Im not judging or anything just making a point . I’m old so I’ve seen society go from the vast majority having opinions and beliefs that align with the Bible to the vast majority having beliefs and opinions contrary to the Bible.
you see it in everything art , theater , movies and television , advertising ect
when I was a kid and we finally got a tv even when I was a teen , on tv and movies they would hardly show a bedroom but when they did , it would have two beds . Everyone was more conscious of god and the Bible even if they didn’t know that’s what it was. It was in our laws , our entertainment , our discussions, in kindergarten and grade school we were taught from the Bible unless our parents objected but hardly anyone ever did ect we were also taught by our parents from the Bible and didn’t have all the technology now candlieght and daddy’s deep voice reading about Daniel and the lions den ! imagine today ….Like society now , if you say your against homosexuals being able to marry or if you don’t recognize the marriage as legitimate , or even if you say you don’t think men should be with men …then you are the immoral
One according to the majority Even though In the ot before Christ came the morality of it was made known by God and his distain for the act of homosexuality not the urges but when they become the acts.

See since Christ came of course we don’t put folks to death like that for sin or even judge them we let Jesus do that ….but the morality of it remains it’s something tbat God hates it’s an abomination to him because it’s a perversion of his design and also is a perversion of a sexual manner. Which also he hates all of those many different things people do
My point is society doesn’t want gods ways anymore only the groups of believers who are left so i don’t think in a democracy where the majority of the people rule and decide everything would be possible to get them all to agree with us believers who think it’s a great idea of our government operated by gods ways
now days imagine reading from Deuteronomy or even the nt when it speaks of continuing in slavery , and women obeying thier husbands , children obeying thier parents in everything . Homosexuality being an abomination and sin of death , , Individuals not commiting sexual immorality ect ect these are all excellent ways indeed that god speaks forth but a democracy today doesn’t seem like it wants a singular god and singular way but wants freedom to worship many gods and freedom to act in thier own way they determine best as a collective Body
imagine today making a push to install some of the things the Bible teaches in our government . Seems problematic but what a blessing it would be tbough

We should not worry, but we should put feet to our prayers for God's will to be done on earth by applying divine love to political issues.
We have a say via voting, and MAGA elected Trump, who is doing a lot of good by controlling national borders, returning abortion laws to the states, thwarting globalism, ending lawfare, promoting peace, etc.
I hope you understand and agree with what I am saying.
I agree that the Democrats abet immorality, but many in MAGA are Christians and trying to apply GW to political issues.
I see signs that the US society is moving back toward the sixties as the Marxist media and Dem donkey wan in popularity.
Losing the Vietnam War caused a lot of the division and decline of morality in the US, but transgenderism went too far.
Today, Oklahoma is installing biblical morality in its school system, and we can hope other states will follow its example.
Of course, folks who watch mainstream media will have no clue, so I encourage everyone to watch Real America's Voice,
Newsmax and other conservative sources.

I dare say you are for sure, because it is impossible not to support one side or the other when the options are binary
(cf. Matt. 12:30, Mark 9:40). IOW, abstaining usually supports one side or the other.
Yeah I don’t even vote anymore brother I was really into politics when I was young because of the Vietnam war and the political Environment it had created in America.
But the side I chose in tbat time really didn’t have my back and I was fed a lot of wrong info and made a terrible choice based on it . After that I still voted and payed taxes and everything American pie , but I can’t bring myself to support the people today that run . Thier destroying society and really I don’t see any servants of God running things or being elected
If a candidate seems serious about Christianity like speaking of the gospel and principles Jesus taught ofnthey said I do everything in Jesus name ! They’d never be elected I feel probably wouldn’t make it out of a primary .
ive seen alot of decline brother in social morality and how our government functions and guides and rules over it …. I love the country I just don’t have much for government anymore I been burned alot
So I sorta just try to tell people about Jesus in a way that’s individual and leave the politics to everyone else the Bible tells us the worlds going to keep declining till the end of it
