Nothing wrong with healthy patriotism. When it leads to war of conquest, such as Russia's invasion of Ukraine, yes, it's evil.I wouldn't say "strictly speaking." I'd say anyone who doesn't have a clue might think that way.

Hitler's economic views in "Mein Kampf"
Clearly Hitlers views on the German economy were intertwined with his ideology.
- Anti-Capitalism and Anti-Marxism: Hitler expressed anti-capitalist sentiments while simultaneously opposing Marxism, viewing both as detrimental to the German nation. He associated Jews with both international high finance and Bolshevism, according to Taylor & Francis Online: Peer-reviewed Journals.
Again, you cannot separate Hitler's ideology from his economic policy.
- Rejection of Free Market Principles: He believed a state-controlled, planned economy was superior to a market economy.
- Emphasis on Racial Purity: Hitler believed that racial purity was crucial for Germany's economic strength and overall well-being. He saw Jews as a threat to this vision.
In essence, Hitler's economic views in "Mein Kampf" were focused on creating a self-sufficient, racially "pure" Germany, capable of achieving global dominance through territorial expansion and military strength
Mein Kampf was published in 1925, long before the Nazi's began preparing for war.
Yes, I finally think I can understand why the left has this total fascination with the guy and are always referring to him.Feel better now.![]()
I've studied this subject extensively. No, the capitalist system was not in place. It's one of the reasons that Germany was broke. Price controls on most things were strict. Often the cost of production was more than the goods could be sold for. That's a quick way to go bankrupt.Basic elements of the capitalist system remained in place, the government intervened in the economy to prepare for war, not due to ideology.

Unions were permitted but the leaders were Nazi party appointees. Most institutions were controlled by the party. And there was a program to take over everything eventually. "Nazi" is the contraction of National Socialist. Hitler knew exactly what he was doing. When the state controls the means of production, the state controls the population and a true dictatorship is the result.
No doubt socialism suited Hitler's agenda for European domination. It nearly worked too. But for his folly in invading Russia, Europe could still be under Germany's control.
I suspect the Holocaust plays a role for them.Interesting, I find it those that think "modern day Israel" is the new gathering are the ones who are extremely fixated on him.
I think the German miracle was simply people like Ford and Rothschild pumping money into the country so they could be a bulwark against Russian communism. I also think the reason he turned to attack Russia was because Rothschild was the puppet master and Hitler was simply a puppet.I've studied this subject extensively. There was no german miracle. It was still God in controle. The consequences of the persecution of jews was the founding of the state of Israel in 1948.I think the German miracle was simply people like Ford and Rothschild pumping money into the country so they could be a bulwark against Russian communism. Honestly, I view it as patriotism. I am Canadian, so I "don't have a horse in the race" so to speak. I don't like everything that Trump does, but the one thing that I love is that he is putting America first. We could use some of that mentality up north.strictly speaking is "Make America Great Again" fascist or patriotic?
True. What many don't know also is that after WW2 German citizen expats were horribly abused when seeking refuge in surrounding countries. They were even killed. One small point: Fascism is not Nazism. Fascism is nation based, Nazism is race based. Fascism was the creation of Mussolini, who dreamed of restoring Italy to the glory days of Rome. Hitler sought racial purity, based on evolutionary theory. This gave rise to the idea of the Aryan "master race".
It may escape some people, but Nazi Germany was socialist. The point that the video makes about modern socialism in the West is well made.
And what of all others who were slaughtered, imprisoned, experimented on? Jews were not the only victims in Germany. Roma were too. Some accounts estimate more of their number were killed than the were the Jews. There was no german miracle. It was still God in controle. Yep, well according to Gideon300 and ResidentAlien that makes them fascist. But for some reason neither was willing to clarify their statements by answering my question. I guess because it exposes that their definition of Fascist is to be nationalist and to "make America a failure" is the goal of their platform. But for Gideon300 that is fine, he is not an American citizen, no reason that people in other countries would want the US to be "great".Honestly, I view it as patriotism. Also, why did Hitlers Nazi Reich target Jews?
Hitler was not the only bad guy in this time.Who IS Hitler?
Hitler was not the only bad guy in this time.
Stalin, Mao and who else.
But you missed the biggest one, Fauci.Mussolini and a whole lot more that followed them until now.
Some historians estimated a quarter billion +/- innocent lives were murdered by their own governments in the last century. This does not include those killed in declared warfare by foreign conflicts. Those were killed by the ones in power of their own countries. You mentioned two of the biggest, Mao and Stalin.
