Okay, so there's this gal I met online 6 years ago. I was 18 she was 13. We started off as just teammates on the game we played online. She wasn't very good at the game and people picked on her because of it. I regularly came to her "rescue". Over time she developed feelings for me and of course I'm completely oblivious. This March, she told me she loved me (which I had become accustomed to hearing from her) but then she said she didn't just love me, but was IN love with me. At first I wasn't sure what I thought about that.. I'd never thought about her in that sense. The more I thought about it the more I liked the idea. We began to "see" each other. This took place from Missouri and North Carolina. She and her friend will be going on a vacation of sorts this coming summer and they finally confirmed that they want to come to Missouri, close to my area. She said she would try to stop in and see me and I told her that if they wanted they could stay at my place on the way down and back and save themselves some money. She loves that idea, but she has to get her friend to talk to me so her friend can make a decision. I'm wound tighter than an 8 day clock at the thought of this! There is no explaining how sweet she is, and I know it's her real nature... I've only talked to her almost daily for 6 years!
 
First of all.. AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!! that's like sooooo awesome! ^_^ second of all..I'm not trying to be a spoilsport..but like..it's one thing to know someone online..like you really get to know the person (but even then you still don't really know them) etc..but it's a whole different ball game when you meet face to face... so I would advise you to practice some caution.. but all in all..congrats :) I would sooooooo want to meet my best friend if I could ever get that opportunity..just so I could throw a water bomb at him muahahahahahahahaha..
 
I live caution. I'm a little more bold in the last few years for the simple reason that I have grown into a body that is more than capable of physically defending itself from anyone foolish enough to NOT have a projectile weapon. I have also adopted a "forced underestimation" tactic. I carry myself like I have no idea how to fight, But I only need one quick movement to render someone completely incapable of fighting back. At that point I restrain them and let the police handle them. I've seen her on webcam dozens of times, and I talk all day with her via text (sometimes voice) and I'm quite certain she is who she says she is. But I will be on guard regardless.
 
If she is 18+, then you are free to date her. If she is under 18, then you'll have to wait plain and simple.
 
She is over 18. I already know that I am free to date her. And I met her on dream of mirror online.

I don't think that's the type of caution meant. I don't thinl the suggestion was to incapacitate her and have her arrested.

Probably, I mean I don't hate that programme but imagine the kids faces...."yeh I beat up your mummy, had her arrested and then decided she was ok when she didn't leave me for getting her arrested.

I hope it doesn't quite come to that, otherwise you'll have a good case for worst first date EVER!

But seriously, glad it's going well, best of luck with the face to face, don't pass out, and write your name down on a piece of paper so you don't forget it. :D
