I can really empathize with this dog.
The severe PTSD made him cry in his sleep. There's many times I've finally waken up sobbing in my sleep. Hideous dreams of my half brother torturing and killing everyone I loved. He's a psychopath and lacks a conscience. He said that an MRI showed that part of his brain was dead. It's obvious that it is his conscience.
Sorry to hear about that, I have not been through something like that, But my dad tried to choke me to death a family member tried to have me drowned two different times a bad guy that broke into our house he tried to choke me to death and a surgery I had to have went wrong I was not able to eat solid food for about 2 years and almost died I would not have made it through all that without Jesus.
My heart goes out to you.
Was the surgery to fix the damaged trach from the attempted strangulation or was that a separate event?
Thank you, No it was a different surgery the tube they put down your throat to see what's going on they did that then when they did the surgery, they used it again and did not do it right that's what messed me up on eating for about 2 years until I got prayed for

I've been warned about that when training under a Naturalpathic physician. He taught that when they insert Scopes into orifices they often perforate the linings or poke holes through the colon when using it the other way.
Another physician, Dr Jennifer Daniels that I have put frequent links to told me likewise. Not only that, but that the same device might be used on a hundred patients. The problem is that it cannot be autoclaved or sterilized. It's impossible to clean them properly.
That spreads infection/ fecal matter from patient to patient when used in the other end.

Yeah it almost cost me life I got really skinny and the Mom and Dad had asked the doctor how long I had to live he said he could go at any time I said I refuse to accept that in Jesus name, I asked God where to go to, to get prayed for he told me and I did, I did not get better that day God told me it was because I did not have enough faith that day he told me to go back so I did and when I got prayed for I said Jesus I'm not getting up unless you heal me and he did and I eat food the same day, Thank you, All glory goes to Jesus that's why I survived, You are welcome, That's good if I help others by sharing my story in any way

It hurts me to see what they do to people who are hurting. I've seen so many who needlessly are harmed worse than the reason they went to the ER for.
There were nurses trying to scare me with death if I didn't go to the hospital to be scoped the time I had ulcers.
Granted, they very well may have been bleeding.
I asked them what is that going to change if they see bleeding ulcers?
I said, Their protocol is the same regardless, PPI meds for a period of time. They likely won't even know what kind of diet to follow for healing.
The difference is that if I go and agree to as many tests as they are allowed to bill for, the bill will stress me out a lot longer to pay their outrages claims.
I already tested myself with my God given built in mechanism of physical symptoms. No doubt I have ulcers AND I know why. They'll find H Pylori or not but add dangerous antibiotics and pain meds, antacids, perhaps a steroid all of which will ruin my health and cause long term consequences.
I decided to treat myself the way the Lord provided the right information and they healed up fine. Other times I've not seen healing through giving the body what it needed.
Sometimes it's been through direct rapid miracles like you too experienced.
Many other times, I have seen people with GI issues and swallowing issues caused by medical procedures.
The biggest hospital in my state forces major surgical procedures on sedated patients with the false claims of things like aspiration pneumonia. They falsely claim that the patient is not swallowing properly and some liquid or food is going down the wrong way.
In order to "$ave the patient", they must cut the muscles and tendons that allow swallowing in order to insert a tube into the trachea.
Is that going to correct their supposed claim?
Then they add a stomach/ gastric tube. This forces the patients to depend on their "food", Abbott Laboratories toxins, given by syringe. Then the poor patient makes the hospital system faaar more money as a lifetime customer, which is usually not very long. They make more money on the way out through Hospice (demonic murder for money) and end of life grants.
I'm going into just enough details in case you ever find yourself in a bad way and wonder what to do. I don't want to stress you though. I'm just grateful you didn't get their end of life "treatment".
Instead, Jesus healed you and gave you life!

I had ulcers before I know what you mean, My dad got to where he had trouble swallowing he would not get prayed for they wanted to break his ribs and put a tube in him and put him in a machine for the rest of his life Mom said no she did not want to do that to him he got saved before he died I had my pastor lead him to the Jesus he had a big smile on his face when he died, Yes Jesus healed me and gave me life! Agents shot tranquilizer darts at “Little Buck” while he laid calmly in his bedding, then issued the Sibleys a citation “for possessing a quadruped” and a fine of $1,600.
“I mean my sons in tears, you know?” described Jaci Sibley. “I got him off the couch from watching cartoons right before our family Christmas party to come tell his deer, ‘Bye.'”
Little Buck was euthanized later that day.
This fresh fawn found its way into the Sibley family seven years ago, the baby deer blind and abandoned by its mother in Baton Rouge,” explained WAFB.
The deer, named “Little Buck,” was free to come and go as it pleased on and off the Sibleys’ property, and it eventually grew into a large buck.
