I was hoping someone would start this thread. But I know some of you have some thoughts that you shared in the other thread. @God-fearing was it you? Sorry, I don't recall. Either way I hope this can be a good discussion. This thread is NOT about or for ANY other discussion than winning Jews to Christ. There are a dozen other threads for that. Go there!

First of all, some serious prayer to prepare their hearts. Second, prayer for you or anyone who wants to share the gospel to the Jews, that you are able to convey the gospel clearly and accurately in view of their background.

Prayer is always the first thing, but I'm not so confident about how to share the gospel with them. So I'm going to wait for other people to chime in on which Bible verses we should use and the proper approach.

Yes, that is good starting advice. I saw a video where I Jewish young lady said she thought Jesus was Catholic. She had no idea. When she learned about the real Jesus, she became saved.

Use the prophets and law like Paul did

“And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening. ( there’s a lot in them about Jesus )

And some believed the things which were spoken,

and some believed not.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭28:23-24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It’s always going to be that way sonce Jesus ascended some jews will believe and some won’t just as some gentiles Will and some won’t .

jews are born of the law and prophets it’s what made them a nation the Old Testament is literally what defines them . Ots reqlly a hard lift though most often tbey Will do what many Christian’s do . Begin to explain why all those verses about Jesus weren’t really in thoer ancient texts …..

ive seen Jews convert and it last however with god nothing is impossible

I would be happy to post and share this topic I haven't forgotten. If anyone is led here to do so so be it. Praise God.
I am currently studying and trying to understand for it seems very complex on what and how the Lords work brought about forgiveness and satisfying the law. Some of Paul's writtings covers this topic in Hebrews and ephesians topically but need more understanding so I can give a answer. As I posted in my original post it was to benefit me also. All I can say for now is the kingdom to come may not be what many think.😄🤔

If you study the law itself as of you were a child of israel who the covenant law is given to . You see that it’s like this it’s about sin and death for sin . Like so this structure permeates the law

The commandment

“Thou shalt not commit adultery.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭20:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

That’s teaching us adultery is sin . And then this is the judgement upon the sinner who committed the sin

“And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.”
‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭20:10‬ ‭

when that happens the sinner is no longer under the law . they sinned , then they were put to death because of sin. The law is now fulfilled because it never addresses the dead sinner again when you sin you are condemned to death.by the law and it becomes as if they are gone never mentioned again

the conclusion of the law is this

“Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.”
‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭18:4‬ ‭

the law of sin and death you sin you are condemned to death the end . Eventually it came to this

“for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

This means all of us sinners are condemned to die because all have sinned

now consider how this affects that for a believer

“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

And then because of believing that we get baptized in his name who died for our sins which means

“Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭6:3-4, 6-7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

See we died with him who died for our sins and when you die you are then released from the law that says if you sin you must surely die because Jesus fulfilled ot for us what that means is

“Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?….. Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ;

(that’s the ot law of Moses he’s speaking of but it’s not that we don’t have a law and word we have a new one )

that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.”( Jesus promised believers of the gospel woild bear fruits of the spirit )
‭‭Romans‬ ‭7:1, 4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I’m sorry if this doesn’t make sense I’m a bit of a poor comminicator . The law says if you sin you must die but nve you die it has no other word to speak to you you’re dead the end of the law is death for sin. Jesus died because we have all sinned on our behalf so that we could be set free from the law which was later applied to all the world to hold us guilty formoir sins so that only though Christ and the gospel his death for our sins can we be set free

“But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; ( all sinners were condemned to death by the law because we sinned ) that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭7:6, 8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We wouldn’t know sin without the knowledge of good and evil . Found in the law. In order to redeem us from our ignorant stupidity of constantly rejecting and rebelling against god , Jesus had to become a man born inder the law love perfectly with no sin so he wasn’t condemned by the law like we are and then die for our sins . This releases is from the law as of we died for our sins but Jesus propitiation lets us have that credit of our debt being already paid to the law . So that we can come to the lord and hear the gospel and be saved

“Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:19-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Oh my good friend....love it when one pursues Gods word. But let us not be of our own understanding.
Jesus died for all.....jews and gentiles. 2 groups of peoples. One under the law one not.
Paul says Jesus is our high priest....Jesus is of judah.....not a levite. His last name Christ not cohen......(just joking)...
The word of God came in the flesh....man......The same word of God says no man can die for another man sin.
If you say the man died in Christ that a violation if you say God died well that's a lie.
One death.....for all...which satisfied.......now where do we go from there? Keep in perspective the Jewish mind.
I knew you couldn't let it go ...lol. .....

Yeah lol of course he died for all ….. I was just showing you a bunch of scriptire that tells us how Jesus fulfilled the law by his death as you had I thought wondered about and offered some thought with it .

Amen I agree . Of course Jesus died for all . I was just talking about the law and how he fulfilled it by his death

“Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭6:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ;

‭‭Romans‬ ‭7:4, 6‬ ‭

We died with Jesus to this

“Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:19-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

and then came this to save the world that was guilty

“But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; ( see Luke 24: 44-47) even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:21-23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The first part is a quote from your post

“I am currently studying and trying to understand for it seems very complex on what and how the Lords work brought about forgiveness and satisfying the law.”

The rest was me sharing with you some scripture and thoughts of that subject how Jesus satisfied the law . Ot was when he died and we get included through baptism into his death for our sins . The law was meant to impute sin upon people make all the world guilty. The Jesus died for all the sinners the law condemned to death which is all of us . We’re all sinners . “All have sinned “

When he died for our sins it fulfilled the law of sin and death “ thou shalt not , you must surely be put to death “ we sinned and we’re condemned to death but Jesus died to release us from it to fulfill it for us in his death

The same word of God says no man can die for another man sin.
If you say the man died in Christ that a violation if you say God died well that's a lie.
One death.....for all...which satisfied.......now where do we go from there? Keep in perspective the Jewish mind.

It doesn't say no man can die for another man's sin. It says children will not be put to death for the sins of their fathers, and the soul that sins, dies. In other words, every man is responsible for his own sins, not those of others.

However, Christ willingly agreed to pay Israel's debt for its sins. The reason he could do this is because as lord of the earth he had authority over everything. His word was law. He forgave Israel their sins committed against the law, so they were without sin. This is why Jesus told the pharisees that if they were blind they would have no sin. The law still demanded payment for those sins, so the payment for them fell on Christ, who willingly paid the ransom.

Furthermore he sealed forgiveness of sins with a blood covenant in which participants in that covenant received his righteousness by imputation and he received the guilt for their sins by imputation.

One bit of advice I got from someone who has a real heart for this who spent time in Israel, is a missionary, and has taught Hebrew is you present the Gospel through their Jewishness, and in line with it. It's not like, "Quit being Jewish, and be a Christian like us Gentiles. Here's a ham and cheese sandwich."

You show them Jesus as the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies. If saying Yeshua and using 'Jewish' or Hebrew terminology helps communicate, do that.

Some of the Messianic prophecies have slightly different numbering in Jewish translations of the Bible. My friend suspected that was so that when they read Christian materials it would take them to a different verse.

witness to Jews?
Simply since God, Who Has Mercy for all, being no respecter of persons:

God's Eternal Salvation ( Deliverance from Undiluted Wrath ) Is Conditional On God's
( Jesus Christ's ) Finished Sacrificial Work Giving His ALL-Sufficient BLOOD!

If God's Undiluted Wrath is shared first and The Conviction of the Holy Spirit Comes, then:

Simply share This with them = God's:

Grace, Peace, Mercy, And Love! Because of His Undiluted Grace!

Amen.

PS: I believe these two are "saved Jews", correct @Genez and @Musicmaster?

Proverbs 17:15

That's referring to judging evil to be good, and good to be evil. It's not speaking of debt, which can be forgiven. God didn't judge Christ to be evil, or us to be good, but our debt was paid and we are forgiven and imputed with Christ's righteousness through his death.

Deu 21:22 If a man does a crime for which the punishment is death, and he is put to death by hanging him on a tree;

Deu 21:23 Do not let his body be on the tree all night, but put it to rest in the earth the same day; for the man who undergoes hanging is cursed by God; so do not make unclean the land which the Lord your God is giving you for your heritage.

You explain it the way I did to correct his misunderstanding of what the bible says. That verse doesn't say debt can't be forgiven; it simply says it's an abomination to call the unjust, just and the just, unjust. God did neither, and simply forgave our debt.

It would be great to reach the Jews with the truth.

But here is the hindrance here to fore.

And this way and that way.

The problem here to fore.

And this way and that way.

And to and fro.

And back and forth.

And every which way but loose.

And this, that, and the other thing.

You are going to have a hard time reaching the Jews because of your belief in a trinity.

The Jews do not believe in a trinity but believe one God the Father.

What is that hard to figure out.

How are you going to work around that with your trinitarian concept.

1Co 8:6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him.

Eph 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

The Bible plainly states there is one God the Father.

Maybe if you trinitarians would understand the truth than you can reach out to the Hebrews.

This be what I know see:
Whenever I plan to do anything, I am not listening to God or am I, you and others as well?
"I" am in the way for God to do the speaking through me, you think? Maybe
I see God is Love for everyone to turn to and willingly depend on, as is the best to do. for us all y'all.
I know I have had other people in past befriend and then scold me, take away free will from me, took me in and made me who they want me to be, and claim it is God working through them.
NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so, I found out. Now I am with Paul, not depending on Paul, self or any other person here in this world, since all are after their own, in their own thought(s) Phil 3

I love sharing here on Christian chat, I do not care to accuse, excuse or manipulate a fact
That God loves us all (1 Cor 13:13, has done that since day one. Yes God chose the first chosen to reveal to us all, none of us are perfect. For the first chosen weren't ever perfect, and God kept having mercy on them and now us, without Law and we put Law on others, and do not even do what we say to do ourselves, or you above anyone else? I am not!
God by Son made us all as reconciled first, forgiven in his willing shed blood to have new life and love the same as God does. Did Jesus fight anyone? Did Jesus kill anyone? And Jesus is the Ambassador the exact representation of God himself of the flesh for us to be new in love and mercy to all, once one lets go of self, and wanting their own way, then one will begin to see new and continue to learn truth over the error(s) here in this world still
Learn discernment when to and when not to, as only Father can do that through us, I see I can't thought I could
