There is a strong history of arguing about catholics on this forum. I'm afraid you won't have much luck here.
If you have a specific question, feel free to trot it out and we'll see what we can do. But if it has to do with Catholic rites and customs, you'll probably start a big debate instead. Forewarned is forearmed.
I think you should go to God for the advice and He will speak back to you through His word. I believe that letting the priest be your guide is a bad idea. God has open arms for you and He wants to talk to you using His word.
