Wow, I didn't know that about Jehovah Witnesses!

Here's another of their beliefs that's pretty serious too.

The Watchtower Society insists Jesus' crucified dead body has yet to be
restored to life. It's still deceased, and his remains are squirreled away
somewhere on Earth in a condition, and a location, known only to God.

That is crazy! I will definitely pray for them. How can they believe that the Lord Jesus is deceased? It's not like they don't have access to the Bible. They can access any Bible translation for FREE on the Internet. Heck, they can ask the many Christians around and ask for their testimony on Jesus being alive and real in their lives!

I agree with this also. I thought everybody new that one, lol.

Not everyone is fully cognizant of the $0.50 words, their meaning or effect.

When I say that no amount of sanctification has ever given anyone any Justification....it's generally accepted....but as we see that wasn't the case and the words were used in a fashion that made it obvious that someone did not really understand the terms.

So I clarified, defined, and explained.

Now we all can converse on an equal playing field where semantic games are not played and truth can be revealed.

I think they have their own bible? Maybe thats the mormons? Maybe both. I dont know
I did see a documentary once that mormons work toward godhood. I guess they didnt learn about the big lie the serpent told Eve. Lots of new age nonsense about becoming gods also.

Read John 3:7, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, Matthew 21:31, 2 Peter 1:3-11

The first and most important qualification is to be born again. That is essential even to see the kingdom of God. It's not enough to be upright morally, diligent in good works, studying God's word or even praying. The Pharisee did all these things but they disqualified themselves by their self righteousness.

Paul explained who was disqualified from entering the Kingdom God. That's the negative. As an aside, a lot of believers use 1 Corinthians 6:9 to beat up on homosexuals. I've done that myself. However, I saw that it was just one of a list of sinful behaviours unacceptable to God. And verse 11 gives the answer: some of the Corinthians were that kind of sinner, but they found deliverance in Christ. No one is so deep into sin that he cannot be set free.

The key to entering the Kingdom is obedience to God's revealed will in this life. As I've said before, entrance into the kingdom of God is not the same as entering heaven. Those who are born again have eternal life. God will accept them as His own. But there will be no rewards for those who choose to live for themselves, avoiding the cross and being independent of God.

Lord Jesus said this to the Pharisees (Matthew 21:31). It helps to read the verses around verse 31 also.

Those who can enter the KOG are those who satisfy God's requirement for salvation (GRFS), which I believe is the following:

The kerygma/GRFS should be every Christian’s creed, and only belief in this crucial truth should be viewed as a test for orthodoxy or heresy. As Paul wrote in Romans 10:9, “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Conversely, judgments concerning a person’s spiritual orientation or ultimate destiny should not be made on the basis of didachaic or secondary doctrines. (If any judgment is made, it should begin with a self-examination per Matt. 7:1&5, 2Cor. 13:5-8).

A major reason many Christians throughout history have not manifested the love and unity of God’s Spirit (Eph. 4:3) as well as they should is because of failure to realize this truth. If they did, it would free them to speak honestly and fellowship without becoming unduly upset about relatively minor issues. They would receive God’s blessing as peacemakers, who draw inclusive circles around people based on the kerygma rather than denominational lines between them due to didachaic differences. Jesus prayed for spiritual unity (cf. John 17:20-23, “May they be one…”). Thus, unity regarding the Gospel is more important than accuracy regarding doctrinal details.

The normative way of stating the kerygma/GRFS in the NT is “Accept Christ Jesus as Lord” (as in 2Cor. 4:5 & Col. 2:6). The main points of Christian orthodoxy implicit in this statement can be explained or elaborated as follows:
  1. There is a/one all-loving and just Lord or Creator God (Deut. 6:4, John 3:16, 2Thes. 1:6), who is both able (2Tim. 1:12) and willing (1Tim. 2:3-4, Ezek. 33:11) to provide all morally accountable human beings salvation or heaven—a wonderful life full of love, joy and peace forever.
  2. Human beings are selfish or sinful (Rom. 3:23, 2Tim. 3:2-4, Col. 3:5), miserable (Gal. 5:19-21), and hopeless (Eph. 2:12) or hell-bound at the judgment (Matt. 23:33 & 25:46) when they reject God’s salvation (John 3:18, Rom. 2:5-11).
  3. Jesus is God’s Messiah/Christ and incarnate Son, the way that God has chosen (John 3:16, Acts 16:30-31, Phil. 2:9-11) of providing salvation by means of his atoning death on the cross for the payment of the penalty for the sins of humanity (Rom. 3:22-25 & 5:9-11), followed by his resurrection to reign in heaven (1Cor. 15:14-28).
  4. Thus, every person who hears the NT Gospel needs to repent and accept God’s grace or justification in Jesus as Christ/Messiah the Lord or Supreme Commander (Luke 2:11, John 14:6, Acts 16:31), which means trying to obey His commandment to love one another (Matt. 22:37-40, John 13:35, Rom. 13:9)—forever (Matt. 10:22, Psa. 113:2).
  5. Then God’s Holy Spirit will establish a saving relationship with all who truly accept/love Him (Rev. 3:20) that will eventually achieve heaven after Christ returns at God’s resurrection of all saved souls when everyone cooperates fully with His will (John 14:6, 17&26, Rom. 8:6-17, Gal. 6:7-9, Eph. 1:13-14, Heb. 10:36, 12:1, Jam. 1:2-4).

So....Become more Holy! Yes sir.

Which, can only get done in one, anyone that stands in trust, not work(s)
As I see many are stuck, yet God still remains faithful to all that will not quit belief to his risen Son for them, and will see new mysteriously happen through them, surprised in the new love, that no one but Father has working through them. Stuck happens in first born flesh, as bad stinking thinking gets many, through tragedies, read Job, Job did not deny God, our turn!
By Faith not by work(s), those by Faith see new, it is not self doing it. Rather Father through them, these standing in thanksgiving and praise
See they need Dad, PaPa, Father in risen Son for them. And be willing to learn new over old, thank you Dad
