I never have plans for the weekend. But I'll tell you my usual. Get up on Saturday at 8, hike 8 miles around a lake, eat Chinese, watch tv, generally chill walking around the house petting cats or going on the internet sporadically. And Sunday I might go to church and then play games with my family, take a walk, go to the beach or something like that.

How do you feel about your current situation in life? content, irritated, sad etc...

I do think that Christians have always been persecuted by non-Christians, and if you mean by God then yes, I think that's beginning to happen as well along with the rest of the country. It will only get worse.

What are the most likely things you would do if you were given the opportunity to have whatever you wished for. Or another way to say it: How would you change what God set up to make everything better? ...That is, if you believe that's possible.

The values of a and b are not defined so I'll assume I can assign them. Using a=8 and b=2 gives me a problem statement of:

29*29*84*61.5 / (2*8-6) + 5*2 =

so:

4344606 / 20 = 217230.3

finally:

The square root of 217230.3 = 466.0797142120648

That was very easy and took me less than a minute. Anyone have anything challenging?

Yes, Yes. they are what you think they are but how important is it that you not only believe what they but tgat you act out the beattitudes' principle verses. Let's look at them ...but I'm focusing on the final TWO 'BLESSEDS,' if that makes sense, saying then how important these spices are to life, and, not just any life, YOUR LIFE
OK, Matthew 5 begins for us now, so, please, my ladies and gents , turn with me to this chapter and I'm.reading from the NKJV version:

And seeing the multitudes, He (Jesus) went up on a mountain (side?) and when He was seated His disciples (not speaking JUST to His apostles, Peter, James, John, Andrew, etc.) came to Him.
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those that mourn, for they shall be comforted (with fresh goat milk, this, of course, for Catty, a.k.a. Catlynn ) I'm kiddingKIDDING.
OK, the next blessed beattitude is Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the Earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.

And the 9th and final 'Blessed (pronounced bles-sed, or, it's 'bless-sid' if you are an Ice Age movie fan ) is Blessed are YOU when they revile (eww, heavy, loathy word, eh ) and PERSECUTE you, and, say all kinds of evil against you falsely (like saying, 'YOU FILTHY MESS!' when really the truth is you are 'A CLEAN MESS.' ), for my sake.

That's it, that one must not be that important then, green. All the others have a 'for,' after that saying something good happening like getting the earth.

And what FOR must we follow these reasons and willingness to be PERSECUTED...?

WE NEED TO BE SALT OF THE EARTH, SALT LOSES SALTINESS IF IT LOSES IT'S SELF, OR, essence (sorry, for caps, just being green guess ).

Anyway, out of all those beattitudes, and, being more than one thing (peacemaker and meek, for example, as meek gets you Earth and peacemaker called sons of God, but that's not cool as getting eternally good stuff in heaven is it)) is not bad, its a good thingbut I want the most lasting thing-reward inheaven . How we get that?

Seriously, though, for a sensitive child, telling them that you are disappointed in them, and worse yet, that JESUS is disappointed in them, is enough to get them thinking......tell them a little parable so they see why they were wrong, then get them to apologize to everyone involved, including Jesus........Hard-headed kids may take a more drastic approach, though......The Lord leads. (I stole your line, Mr. Green )
