My full introduction to you all will follow later this month. Two cowritten articles, one for a secular audience and an expanded version that has a clear Christian emphasis are to be published. The Royal Society of Chemistry (Rsc) has first dibs and their choice will appear as a "Member's story" on their revamped website. To be followed by a wave of, at present, 6 other organisations who want to use the story for a variety of reasons. One of these, very pleasingly, includes engaging clergy to preach and bridge the public's perceived gap between science and Christianity. For those articles that appear online I fully intend to post the relevant links on this worthy forum. I have taken soundings of the drafts with 30 replies received from friends and professionals in my ken. Three words were frequently and variously used in the feedback "inspiring, moving and powerful". A Canon of the Church of England and a Director of Mission found the draft story "accesible" and "authentic". My coauthor Christine (Chris) is a fellow Christian and a superb wordsmith. She took my "technical report" draft and transformed it into a flowing, engaging, interesting and colourful account peppered with touches of humour and, for those readers of the faith, subtle biblical references in the secular version. A "right, riveting, read" commented one Scottish friend. We're a clanish lot do you not know?
