I love my wife for many reasons. One is her sense of humour. She needs it with me. We were in the supermarket. Usually, we divide the shopping to save time. I finished first so I found where she was She asked me to walk down the aisle with her. I said, "I'm not so sure about that. Look what happened last time I did that". She laughed. I wonder how many other wives would find that funny...........

We have done much the same for over 60 years. Mama told me early on that I made her part of shopping difficult. She said that I spent too much time checking the price. Now when I finish my part, I find a bench and wait on her to finish. Thing is, when we check out, we are always within budget.

*sigh* there are times when I'm out shopping I wish hubby were there to do it with me...
but then there are those times of once in a blue moon when we do get to do some shopping together and I'm thinking "Oh dear Lord! Why!?" :LOL::LOL:
(Partly because he hasn't done much shopping since his single days, and even then he didn't shop much, and so much has changed in the grocery store since those days; more options, higher prices, and more importantly a wife who tries to watch real close what gets brought into the house! With 5 people and different health/nutritional needs sometimes it's just better NOT to bring something home than to go through the drama of 'why do they get it and I don't' :rolleyes:o_O Heck, the kids like when dad goes shopping :LOL: all sorts of stuff/junk mom won't ever buy)
*sigh* oh well, maybe in a few more years we'll reach the point of being able to shop together without going completely bonkers.
