As a Mama Bear to more than 1 autistic child, I do not call it being shy.
But thanks for bringing this up with the Tylenol
, I was trying to decide where to share my thoughts on this.So in my kids Autism support therapy they use a phrase "try again" ,
example:
Johnny stubs his toe and yells "oh $#!* "
The adults reply "try again"
Johnny has a redo, pretends to stub his toe and says "OW! THAT HURT!"
(yeah, easier said than done, and sometimes creates some funny/not funny moments at our house)
Well, I never used Tylenol during my pregnancies and I know/know of countless other mothers who can say the same.
So, to the bogus claims that Tylenol use during pregnancy = autism we say...
TRY AGAIN
Autism is a neurological spectrum disorder.
Hopefully, people will continue to NOT be anti-intellectual and pursue research and treatments, whether they be pharmaceutical or not
and other methods of intervention, for the sake of the parents and children who suffer daily with something they would never ask for.

Over lunch with a friend of mine we were discussing this same thing since he has 2 daughters which are 1st year in college and i have two boys who are going to college next year.
When he said the name of some condition (for one of his daughters) which i can't even pronounce i looked at him and i said "really?".
He said - trust me i'm the first skeptic but i checked with multiple doctors and it's a real condition.
Then i understood what he was saying.
So the question here is: how is Autism defined?
This is the first layer of discussion.
Then we can add Trump and pharmaceuticals later if needed. But as my friend who has a daughter with a real condition which affects her comprehension skills in college said : a lot of conditions are made up so the big pharma can make money.
For the conditions that are real and serious such as cancer, then there's the component of jobs.
Do you know how much an average treatment of cancer costs for a patient? Around $80,000 !
This is 1 patient. On average in 1 hospital, there are 2-3 floors with a total of ~100 patients.
This is 1 hospital.
Then think about all the hospitals in 1 state.
Then think about all the hospitals in USA! If you do the math it's billions of dollars in 1 day !
Now, this industry employs millions of people in different chains of the process.
So if someone, someday says "i found a cure for cancer" that person may be in danger of losing his life, which is why these changes have to come slow.
So, what are your thoughts about autism?

The doctor said my brother (Prince Peter)
♂ had a stroke at birth or just before, which may have caused his autism. Others have suggested that vaccines caused it, while some believe it is due to family genetics. Although autism does seem to run in families, there is no direct evidence yet identifying the exact cause. 
agree with @Godsgirls I know my mother never took any medicine so that's not the cause.
Children suffering in suffrage of the experts rather than be accepted as the unique individuals that they actually are.
Jesus loves you as you are, and it's that love the compels you toward any change at, not any sort of superficial medical alterations.
You can't explain or discuss because you suffer from TDS which is a real condition.
You just throw random credentials in the air and you don't like to be challenged because your ego is very fragile.
I see, you have no concern for any of my concern. Whatever happened to good bedside manner anyway?

there are two commonly use drugs for first they usually try Ritalin which is terrible for a child to be on. It takes all the joy out of life. while Prozac was much better. Autism is sometimes accompted with schizophrenia so they will also prescribe Risperidone because it has less side effect then other anti psychotics. I think that the barrier between them and demons are weaker and they can sense energies we cant.
They are not possessed if that is what you are saying, unless you think a two year old can be possessed.
Have you gotten help yet, my ego is far from agile but my patience does it reach its limits with narrow mindedness and people like you who can only talk about TDS.

I think the google response you shared earlier (it looks like it was quoted from another post and doesn't copy in replies, but I'll try to screen shot it) is a decent summary for starters.
And while I think this is a decent summary, I also think it hardly begins to scratch the surface.
I don't think it is a made up situation for money gains, though I certainly do think there are plenty of persons/organizations that try to profit from it.
And I don't think it is something 'new'.
