I have attended many independent churches and by definition they cannot have a constitution.

You and Inquisitor are making me dizzy ... I'll prove a point with scripture, which y'all can't or won't understand, cuz it so contrary to your false "religion" .. Psychologist call this "cognitive dissonance". I like Dietrich Bonhoeffer's "Theory of Stupidity" which explains a lot of why people today, are so adverse and resistant to changing their preconceived understand of God's Word, following after the centuries/ generations of programming and deception by "The World", and the anti-Christ spirit of this world, and the deception efforts of the Vatican's spiritual military order, the Jesuits.

Bonhoeffer came about his theory, while being imprisoned by the Nazis, at the end of WWII, before they hung him, so being a pastor and remarkable, vocal martyr of the Christian Faith. Why would you quote the Protestant Reformation?

The Protestant Reformation was built on five foundational doctrines known as the "five solas," which state that Christians are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, as revealed in Scripture alone, to the glory of God alone.

They were commandment breakers and they did not honor the sabbath.

Assuming the ten words were binding on Gentiles.

The early Protestants absorbed mostly Catholic doctrine.
