Joyce Meyer lives in a million dollar home, has a private jet, and makes hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. Doesn't the Bible teach that the rich should be giving? Is this what we want to do with our money, support someone's rich lifestyle? Shouldn't we be giving our money to something charitable? If Joyce Meyer needs millions of dollars to preach the Gospel, she is preaching the wrong gospel.

Matthew 19:23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. 24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

1 Timothy 6:18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate

James 5:1 Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.

It does say you can't serve God and mammon.

John the baptist came preaching wearing camel hair and eating locust, i don't see why someone needs a million dollar house let alone a jet if that money can become of good use to people who need it.

King Solomon desires was to have wisdom not extreme wealth. Yet God gave him more than he asked..

I do wonder what happened to him in the end? hmm...

She has so much money it is wicked! Surely people gave her money or supported her thinking it was going to the show or the church, not Joyce Meyer's purse. It's ridiculos. No one should make that much money from preaching the Gospel. The apostles didn't even take lots of money from people. They said they could ask for money but wouldn't. Shouldn't we be helping the poor or helping victims of floods and hurricanes or something. How about the starving people in Somolia? It seems ridiculous that Christianity somehow has afforded to make a false teacher a millionare.
P.S. I don't personally believe you would get a ride on her jet or get to stay at her mansion.

1 Kings 11

Solomon’s Heart Turns from the LORD

1 But King Solomon loved many foreign women, as well as the daughter of Pharaoh: women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians, and Hittites— 2 from the nations of whom the LORD had said to the children of Israel, “You shall not intermarry with them, nor they with you. Surely they will turn away your hearts after their gods.” Solomon clung to these in love. 3 And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines; and his wives turned away his heart. 4 For it was so, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned his heart after other gods; and his heart was not loyal to the LORD his God, as was the heart of his father David. 5 For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites. 6 Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and did not fully follow the LORD, as did his father David. 7 Then Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the abomination of Moab, on the hill that is east of Jerusalem, and for Molech the abomination of the people of Ammon. 8 And he did likewise for all his foreign wives, who burned incense and sacrificed to their gods.

9 So the LORD became angry with Solomon, because his heart had turned from the LORD God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice, 10 and had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods; but he did not keep what the LORD had commanded. 11 Therefore the LORD said to Solomon, “Because you have done this, and have not kept My covenant and My statutes, which I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom away from you and give it to your servant. 12 Nevertheless I will not do it in your days, for the sake of your father David; I will tear it out of the hand of your son. 13 However I will not tear away the whole kingdom; I will give one tribe to your son for the sake of My servant David, and for the sake of Jerusalem which I have chosen.”

King Solomon? The idea of Queen Joyce makes me want to puck. She is a false teacher. She is a woman teacher as the Op of the thread "Joyce Meyer" mentions, and she is way over payed. I don't believe her books are anything close to the wisdom of Solomon. And I wouldn't dream of her being some kind of Biblical figure like King Solomon.
