Speaking about GODS word when they say the earth is millions of years old like gwh, I tell them IF, I say IF you belive GODS word to be true the earth is less than 6000 years old.

gwh puts his own twist on GODS word by adding to it to suit his needs, I feel bad for him, he's as hard as a rock.

This is the one I shared with him, I can only guess since he sill doesn't believe GOD'S word he dint' watch it.

I advocate teaching the facts cited by both theories in our school systems

If two theories disagree, at least one of them are not "facts"

Things get swept under the rug, so to speak, when evidence is found that goes against the mainstream. Many scientists don’t/ refuse to believe in evidence that corroborates the Bible, because in doing so it discredits evolutionary theories.

I believe GW = Truth, revealed by Scripture and Creation.
If evolution is true, it is because God created by that means.

It is true that so-called "facts" as well as theories may be disputed, because human knowledge is fallible,
so perhaps "points" or "beliefs" would have been a better term.

But He didn’t through that means, He spoke it and it was so; just like the Scriptures state.

The Genesis account does not explain the details regarding the means of how it was so.
Its concern is to state that God created the world in order to provide humanity the opportunity to fellowship with Him
both on earth and then in heaven, and it explains that in great detail.

Wow, you’re like all over the map. Now you’re talking about philosophical things. What does this have to do with Creation vs. evo?

Yes, you are right about trying to find details about the beginning. God gave us what He wanted us to know and stated that we would NOT be able to find out anything more.

I view philosophy as love for God's wisdom = truthseeking. (1Cor. 2:6-7)
Humanity has discovered how some things work, but after thousands of years there is still much to learn.
However, what God wants us to seek to know is how to be saved--and then choose it. (1Tim. 2:3-4)
