Just so everyone knows, I am do not believe Word of Faith doctrine. I never even heard of it until this thread and I did a study on Wikepedia to make sure it was valid. I simply believe the Bible says Jesus went to Hell and preached to those in prison. It is a seperate doctrine that says that Hell and Abraham's bosom are in the same place but seperated by the gulf that Jesus mentions in the story of the Rich man and Lazarus. I believe He preached to people in Abraham's bosom. It could make more sense if you call it the grave and not Hell, but I usually use KJV, so I call it Hell. I do not believe Jesus was tormented in Hell or felt any pain. I do not believe that the atonement has anything to do with Jesus visit to those in prison. If you read my original post, this is why I mention Abraham's bosom as the place Jesus went to. I believe Word of Faith teaching is false doctrine just like you do.

I agree with you Jonathan, anything added to the word to suit someone else or their believe is false.

The only doctrine that we should accept is that of the bible.

This clearly states He was indeed alive apart from the body to preach to imprisoned souls and the only place that would be in Hades, for three days He was there in His spirit.

What did Jesus say on the cross about His spirit?

He is the Father isn't he? Seeing it as going back to Himself but in Spirit, God is a Spirit.

I just read an article on Wikepedia about Joyce Meyer. I can't believe she is a rich millionare. Shouldn't that be charity money or church money, not Joyce Meyer's personal pay check. Why do people support her rich habits. She lives like a queen. You should check her out on Wikepidia, million dollar homes, her own private jet and a salary paid to herself of hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. Her lifestyle is blasphemous.
