Everyone assumes their "divine assurance" is based on God's word.

That includes you.
Why do you call God's Word an assumption? You sound like an agnostic/atheist: "I do not know therefore you cannot know."

Romans8-15-16s.png

Romans 8 v 15-16 You did not receive a spirit of slavery that returns you to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.

Not God's word alone, but the reality of what God's word teaches actually experienced.
And then beware of those who despise any who affirm that God keeps His promises.

Jeremiah 29 v 13-14a You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the LORD.

Hmmmm. Well, you can check the Arabic forum, back at least as far as to 2016.
Tell that to the Muslims who yell "Allah Akbar!" before pulling the cord.

Reading something off the "Arabic forum" does not make you anymore informed than reading something off of this forum.

Your reasoning is childish.

I referred to the Arabic forum so that if you checked, you could see I have contributed quite a bit there, and
showing you that I am somewhat versed in Islamic theology is not childish despite your ridiculous claim.
I do not believe you are really interested in the truth. You contest it at every step. You prefer your mockery.
And probably also want to believe everyone is as uninformed as you are.

Obviously not yours.

Has the Spirit of God ever witnessed to your spirit that you are a child of God?
Unlike you my faith in God is not based on experiences.
It is based on the Word of God

You should try it.

It is childish to think that this "Arabic forum" hinders Muslims from being assured of the 72 virgins that await them.

But is it?

If my experience is in concert with the word of God, how is it that my trust is not in what the word of God teaches.

My faith, by the way, is in Christ.

How do you claim to have faith in the word of God by denying what it says?

When Jesus opened the understanding of His fellow travelers on the road to Emmaus, what actually transpired?

And then add Prov1:23 and note that His words are equated with His Spirit and we thus have this triunity re: what He says.
In a search of the common characteristic of children to stick out their tongue in mockery, Isaiah 57 provides a perfect example of the warranted reproof in such cases, even all the while keeping the Prince of Peace in mind, beginning with those who die in peace in Isaiah 57:2 and those healed of their idolatry in Isaiah 57:18-19.

I also looked up the reference of 'thumbing the nose' which is also used in a context of Judah's idolatrous worship in Ezekiel 8:17. And, skimming through the context of the entire chapter, I find myself especially noting God address of Ezekiel as "son of man" in contrast to the referent 'sons of God' in 1John3:1-2. But most peculiar to me in the accordance to the topic of assurance of salvation the following verse 1John3:3 which suggests the provision to 'purify' oneself.

I said no such thing. Muhammad himself had no assurance. I am well aware how young men are lured.

Why are you so dishonest?

You honestly don't grasp this.

It does not matter if Muhammad did or did not have a sense of personal assurance. The issue is still the same, Muslims who become martyrs do so because of a personal assurance of salvation. It is absurd to claim otherwise.

Your research on "Arabic forums" is a childish attempt to prove that Muslims are not going to their deaths with a sense of personal assurance is unreasonable.

Straight from the horse's mouth. Mormon website - Salvation

View attachment 280901

This doc sadly proves one of those reasons why it's so difficult for practicing Mormons to get saved. Thanks for bringing this up.

The Mormon temple marriage gives further incentives to them to become gods and goddesses of their own planets. The last paragraph doesn't get into the details but begins to state why temple marriages are important to them.

So, I should discard Romans 8:16 and 1 John 5:13 and live in fear and bondage to insecurity?

"And this is the record that God hath given to us eternal life and this life is in His Son."
Vs 11

That sounds like a written promise, a record that exceeds any document at the court house.

It does indeed, but it does not state the belief was false.

Luke8:13 describes a belief "for a while" and "without root". How would you classify this kind of belief? Would you consider it genuine pistis as the NT cumulatively defines it, or something else?
