We will see. If Israel gets destroyed, then I will agree that I have misinterpreted God's word. If Israel prevails, I think you will need to revisit your thoughts on the issue.

The timeline revealed in God's word is something like this:
Israel restored, happened in 1948
Israel attacked by the surrounding nations. Also happened in 1948 and has continued until now.
Israel defeats the surrounding nations and enters a "golden age" of peace and prosperity.
Israel grows rich and complacent; lets down her guard (again).
Israel is attacked by nations far to the North. Many scholars believe the nations include Russia, Turkey and Iran. I don't know for sure.
Israel is overrun and almost defeated.
God intervenes and that is the end of the tribulation period and the present age.
This timeline is according to Ezekiel chapters 36, 37 and 38. Amos 1 describes the destruction of Gaza, which has been fulfilled recently. Ezekiel 38 is expanded upon in Revelation 20.
If Israel does not figure in God's plans then Romans 9, 10 and 11 are pointless. I have a solid foundation for my understanding. I'm not an expert like Amir Tsarfati, Jack Hibbs, Chuck Missler or a bunch of others. I do not believe in a separate salvation for the Jews, so I reject the ideas of John Hagee.
Romans 9-11 teaches only that a remnant will be saved. That has been occurring since Pentecost and will continue to the end. Change my mind.
I believe this thread and the israel thread has revealed more about the division among believers than the truths about modern Israel as it known.
Question is is that what we are called to do. Let's all check our hearts and minds ourselves and see if we're are in the mind of Christ.
Are our hearts aligned with God's to say he'd rather all to be saved.
Regardless of opinion or political reasoning we are called to bring the truth of the gospel message that repentance and salvation is offered to those who hear and believe. Only then will real peace be found. For jew as well as gentile.
Our mission has not changed but we have changed our mission.
Only in Christ can anyone be saved. The work of the father is to believe the son.

There is no redemption for those destined to be destroyed. And the time is upon us when these tares will be gathered together to be burned.

Proverbs 18:17. False doctrine gets to a lot of people first; because there are more falsehoods than truths.
