Its gods. For no man should boast. For pride comes before the fall.
you'll complete your race with those works.

You made reference to his works should be taken very seriously,
Do you ever get the shakes 🤩

Does this mean your free of works. No, cooperation and obedience is still required. If your belifs are sound and your faith is strong you will naturally follow gods law because its now your nature. To love becomes so effortless one would have to work hard to fall from grace.

ah salvation is by his works m your requirements don't don't come into it.

He sows in your heart his works in fire, you can only do his works by the spirit.

When your saved your soul gets born of spirit by the sowing of his fruits which are his enabling implantation for his works to be in you, so that you can do his works

Those are not your requirements those are his gifts.

You'll never be free of works because once his fruits are sown you reap

i it was Abraham's faith that was counted as righteousness, but let me ask you this if he had false beliefs he didn't discern and he didn't cooperate, would he have any faith at all? you cannot say that, you're the one that did it, no, it was God who did it. You just made the choice to allow God to to complete his work within you so you could do the work of love and righteousness which he commands. But it's not you who does the work but\nYou are the one that performs the work and chooses to cooperate with bringing that work into fulfillment, which is to love, but it's also not you.

No. And neither does Peter or Paul concerning salvation, nor James and Paul concerning works.

Abraham's belief was counted to him as righteousness.

There a difference

His belief was counted as faith of the lords , an expression of the lord testing his heart with his active word, that can cut though the soul to the heart of man

Basically, Gods enabling grace is also his active word and instruction, that pricks the conscience and tests the heart in the fire of his belief and his works.

When you say it was Abrahams faith, that was counted as righteousness, it's worded as it was counted unto him as righteousness, which means. The lords righteousness, which means it was the lords faith he was expressing, which was to believe.

It's a common mistake people make.

His word says so

And he believed in the LORD, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.

See counted it to him for righteousness.

Which is expressed as the lords righteousness which means it was the lords belief he was expressing, means testing his heart in fire

My understanding is that the Holy Spirit of Christ inspired Paul.
Should the epistles be in pink?

no, i think it's still useful to make a distinction between God Himself speaking and God speaking through the filter of an human..

but on a related note, i would love to find a published Bible with red words also in the OT. Christ is YHWH and it's silly to denote that in part of His Testimony but not in all.

Red letter Bibles lead some to believe certain portions of scripture are more authoritative than others. This isn't so. The whole Bible are the words of Christ.
