No, they doesn't. Jesus taught a faith that reflects God's love for everyone (Matt. 5:44&48, 22:37-40). Ditto Paul (Rom. 5:5, Gal. 5:6).

As we practice walking in the law of liberty in the spirit of grace, Christ grows within us and righteousness becomes our nature as we learn who he is.

[There is] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. God wants righteous behavior and work; that's basically the whole point of salvation - to enable man to work righteousness. Works alone doesn't save and faith alone doesn't save, but faith + work does save. Works alone condemns, faith alone justifies/reconciles and walking in Christ's life through faith saves.For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved in his life. Romans 5:10
The work, will, and commandment of God is to believe in his Son . . .

You are trusting in yourself, so go apply the law which you are so obedient in keeping. Go and be perfect!
Tell us how that works out for you. The denominations in Jesus time in the earth taught the law as the means of salvation as do many preachers today. Jesus Christ is throwing that fake gospel back in their face. If they think they are keeping that obedience to the law in who they trust, they certainly don't need the Savior Who was in their presence.
There was a rich young man who apparently always obeyed his parents and all of the commandments.
This man reflects many who think they are saved by keeping the laws.
Here's one he didn't keep.
22Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. 23And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich. 24And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! 25For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. 26And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved?

Hello Nufan, concerning salvation and eternal life, the Lord Jesus said,
John 3
16 God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever ~believes~ in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
John 5
24 Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, ~has~ eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.
The Apostle Paul said the following,
Romans 10
9 If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
"Did the Jesus and Paul contradict each other?" This, of course, is hardly an exhaustive comparison, but concerning what they both said (in the verses above), their teachings (about salvation and eternal life) seem pretty similar, yes

Jesus spoke to Israel about their promised earthly kingdom. Paul preached the gospel of grace to the gentiles. There are differences such as those of Israel had to endure to the end while gentiles could be assured of their new life in Christ.
It might seem that Jesus preached about works because the law was given to Israel and Jesus advocated that Israel keep the law. However, he did introduce the idea of faith specifically.
Joh_8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
Even in the second chapter of James to the believers of Israel he goes into detail about faith presumably because those of Israel had been so focused on law keeping. Most wee unaware that they also had faith (trusting in the promises of God) while they kept the law. We can see with the Pharisees that keeping the law without faith was of no effect (they thought they had achieved their own righteousness)

All the red letter parts. Jesus very much stresses good works. He says if you love me then obey me. To follow the law of love brings you back to the law of one.
MATHEW 5
He said:
3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.

for they will be shown mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.

Based on my question you can not use paul or the narrator of the bible, but only the words of Jesus. Please use red letter quotes to show me where it talks about Pauline faith. It would seem many of you follow paul and not Jesus.

Im not here to argue. If Paul is correct then show me how it is in agreement whith Christs words.
Have you read the whole New Testament? Not trying to be condescending, it just sounds like the only part of the New Testament you've read are the gospels?
There's a big difference between doing works for Jesus and doing works in Jesus.
Doing works for Jesus reflects an attitude of unbelief, or merely mental belief, that religious works are being used to compensate for. These are works of the flesh that cannot save
Doing works in Jesus is just a natural expression of faith. These are works of the spirit that save. If that kind of work doesn't exist, then faith likely doesn't either. And if faith doesn't exist, then salvation doesn't either.
It's really as simple as saying that the faith that saves produces works of the spirit, which are ceasing from works of the flesh.
John 14
21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”
Do you know Jesus commands.

Jesus says keep my commands.

My understanding is that the Holy Spirit of Christ inspired Paul.
Should the epistles be in pink?
No, the entire Bible should be red in a "red-letter" edition. They're all Jesus' words.
