From the beginning, God showed that real faith leads to real obedience. This truth starts with the word of God through Moses and continues through Jesus’ teachings, all the way to the final picture of God’s people in Revelation.

In the days of Moses, God made His covenant known. He gave the Ten Commandments with His own voice and wrote them with His own finger. God did not give commandments that could not be followed. Instead, He spoke plainly about their purpose and their value. He said, “This commandment which I command you today is not too hard for you, nor is it far off” (Deuteronomy 30:11 NKJV). He added that life and blessing were found in choosing obedience. “I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing… therefore choose life” (Deuteronomy 30:19 NKJV). Moses also told the people, “And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him” (Deuteronomy 10:12 NKJV). These words show that God expected obedience to flow from a heart of love and faith.

God’s faithful people in the Old Testament lived this way. Noah obeyed and built the ark because he trusted God. Abraham followed God’s voice because he believed His promises. David said, “I delight to do Your will, O my God, and Your law is within my heart” (Psalm 40:8 NKJV). Their obedience was imperfect, but it was real, because their faith was real.

When Jesus came, He carried the same message of Moses into fuller and richer light. Jesus did not cancel the commandments. He said, “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill” (Matthew 5:17 NKJV). In the same sermon He warned, “Whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments… shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:19 NKJV). Jesus showed that obedience begins in the heart. “You have heard… ‘You shall not murder.’ But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment” (Matthew 5:21–22 NKJV). In the same way He showed that adultery begins with the eyes and the heart. By doing this He strengthened, not weakened, God’s commandments.

Jesus also spoke clearly about the path to life. He told the rich young ruler, “If you want to enter into life, keep the commandments” (Matthew 19:17 NKJV). He called His followers to a living obedience born from love. “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15 NKJV). He promised the Holy Spirit to guide, teach, and strengthen those who believe. He said His sheep hear His voice and follow Him (John 10:27 NKJV). For Jesus, the test of a true disciple was simple: hearing His words and doing them. “Whoever hears these sayings of Mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock” (Matthew 7:24 NKJV). Faith without obedience, He said, collapses like a house built on sand.

After Jesus returned to the Father, His closest disciples taught the same truth. John wrote, “For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome” (1 John 5:3 NKJV). He also wrote that those who say they know Jesus must walk as He walked and keep His words. This matches everything Moses and Jesus said.

The story reaches its end in Revelation, where God shows the character of His true people in the last days. When pressure rises and the world grows dark, God’s people remain faithful. They are described with two clear marks: they keep the commandments of God and they have the faith of Jesus (Revelation 14:12 NKJV). In the final battle between truth and deception, obedience born from faith becomes the sign of loyalty to God. In another passage, God says His end-time people “keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ” (Revelation 12:17 NKJV). This closes the story exactly where it began. Faith and obedience remain united.

From Moses to Jesus to the final days, the Bible teaches one simple truth. Real faith produces obedience. God never asked His people to follow Him without giving them the strength and the heart to walk in His ways. When we trust Him, we follow Him. When we love Jesus, we keep His words. When the Spirit writes God’s law in our hearts, obedience becomes the natural fruit of a living faith.

Which is the fulfillment of all Law, Love of God working through us, thank you
Luke 21:14-15. Not that I do it, God does and did it for us through Son first. So we love because God first loved us all through Son for us all. The only choice left! to believe God rose Son for all personally and then each in sincere belief, carry that out, to see new and stop showboating. As I now know I have and see to let go of the self, as in Phil 3 tells me about. see standing in Phil 1:6 and accepting by God I am by God made as if am perfect thorough Son's done work. Amazing isn't it
Thank you Father and Son as Won for us to be new in tr using you to lead not me or others anymore
Colossians 1:21-22

No, close but no, missing the first four.

I didn't say it, Jesus did. I believe him. He that loves his neighbor is loving God.

Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. Matthew 7:12

How is it cherry-picking? Paul said love fulfills the law. Treating others like we want to be treated is doing our neighbor no harm, which Paul also said fulfills the law. It all makes sense if you have child-like faith and actually believe what they wrote.

Yes Love fulfills the law
Here are the two greatest commandments in Jesus’ own words, NKJV.
The greatest commandment
Matthew 22:37
“Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’”
The second commandment
Matthew 22:39
“And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’”
Jesus then said in Matthew 22:40,
“On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

This means every teaching of God stands on these two.

Jesus spoke simply. He gave the foundation. Love for God first. Love for people second. Real faith supports these two. It never cancels them.

When people read Paul without starting with Jesus’ clear words, they get confused. They try to build a house without laying the foundation. They read Paul in a complicated way and forget the simple voice of the Master. To understand Paul, one must know very well the words of Christ.

Jesus’ commandments are the light. Everything else must follow that light.

If we treat others like we want to be treated, then we have kept the 10 commandments

The fulfillment of Law. Love, God's type in 1 Cor 13:4-7, given one from God for therm to just love in truth, God's willing truth and did not or does not kill us, or anyone, never did, even though viewed as has,, and is, has been called a tyrant, Not!!!!!!!!!!! ever
God did not kill Adam or Eve after the fall did God? Get the point. God only said to Adam if you do, then death would be for sure. Death of flesh has happened to all ever since. Even Jesus himself went to physical death and was for us all, that is the reconciliation of 2 Cor 5:17-20. Now is risen, where new life begins in all that choose to believe God as in Eph 1:13. Then the new life starts, and many will see it, if one, anyone will not give up. It takes a lifetime to grow up in God's Spirit and Truth John 4:23-24, Col 1:21-23
