That's just you overreacting and misrepresenting. God preserves His own...Philippians 1:6. When a child of God sins, God exercises discipline to draw His people again to Himself...Hebrews 12:6. Those who forsake God were never His own...1 John 2:19.

Sadly lots of people these days follow false grace

Here's God's definition of what grace actually is:

Titus 2:11,12
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

Define "turn away." Is it a specific number of sins or frequency? - - - How long does that cleansing last?

God meant what He said and said what He meant.

Those wanting to know how many times they can sin before they disqualify themselves have already missed the boat.

That's too bad for those who are luke warm wanting to be saved and still enjoy sinful behavior at the same time

Jesus said He would force those that are luke warm out of His Body

Revelation 3:16 - So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

2 Timothy 2:12 - If we deny Him, He also will deny us

We reap what we sow so if a person turns way from the Lord they are denied by the Lord.

So you can't, or won't define it. How are people supposed to know?

Those with a pure heart towards the Lord would not be wanting to know how many times they can sin and still be OK

People asking such questions have already left their first love (the Lord) and are walking after the flesh (sin)

Those with a pure heart towards the Lord would not be wanting to know how many times they can sin and still be OK
That's not what I said. You're making a doctrinal statement. It needs to be defined. How many sins and/or how often until someone "falls away?"

No, I'm trying to get you to define your claims. Without defining them, you can simply make them whatever you want at any time you want.

Hope you learn to accept what the Lord teaches in His Word someday

The Lord does not lead me to explain things to those that would be swine. Sorry.

Because it's a waste of time and these people are already reprobate not having the Spirit.

Right. When grace is truly given, results will be present.

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

God's grace has come upon ALL men, the issue is most do not accept God's true grace and instead receive false teaching concerning grace that leads them to believe they can continue in sinful behavior and still be saved

God's true graces "Teaches us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world"

But the false grace teachers love to problem none are righteous and Christians are all still sinners as they project on to others the desires of their heart which is to continue living in sin while falsely believing they are in right standing with the Lord.

It has appeared to all men. It doesn't say it has come upon all men.

Do they? That's not what I'm saying. Why bear false witness against me?

I already have.
The Lord does not lead me to explain things to those that would be swine. Sorry.
Is that what you typically call your brother in Christ?
Because it's a waste of time and these people are already reprobate not having the Spirit.
Yet you're still here "wasting your time." Why do you continue to respond?

It has appeared to all men. It doesn't say it has come upon all men.

Romans 5:17,18
For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.
Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

NOTE - Romans 5:17,18 is clearly telling us that the free gift came upon all men agreeing with Titus 2:11,12

That's so odd that the calvinists claim all were born sinners based on Romans 5:17,18 and then refuse to use that same logic that righteousness has also come upon all men. Weird

You keep moving the goalposts.

Grace and peace.

You keep moving the goalposts.

No, I keep posting relevant scripture passages from God's Word that some people are being deceived in to not believing as they instead favor teachings from the false teachers like John Calvin.

These 2 passages do not contradict and they also agree with what Jesus said in John 12:32 that He would draw All men unto Himself

Titus 2:11,12
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

And here's more passages showing ALL men have opportunity to get saved and it's God's will for ALL men to be saved

Acts 17:30
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth ALL men every where to repent:

2 Corinthians 5:19,20
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that ALL should come to repentance.

1 John 2:2
Jesus is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Hebrews 2:9
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that He by the grace of God should taste death for EVERY man.

You keep posting verses then misrepresent what they say. But since you seem immune to correction, I'll go back to rearranging my sock drawer. Perhaps you could find your other shoe and argue with it.

Only as far as the calvinists and other false teachers are concerned.

There's no record of John Calvin ever wearing socks so you might want to be careful there
2 things:
...I'm not a Calvinist
...is this a Calvinist thread?

...I'm not a Calvinist
...is this a Calvinist thread?

A lot of people have been heavily influenced by calvinism and don't know it because they don't understand scripture.

And whether this is a thread about calvinism is irrelevant

I'm sure your point is awesome but I'm running on little sleep. Can you dumb it down for me?
I hope you catch up on sleep soon... anyway I was just wondering about the other's comment of Gods grace doesn't cover deliberate sin ... so it looks like when people say that that they're saying Gods grace only covers oopsies.
