Does anyone think we are in the End Times, if so what scripture do you think is being filled currently. For the record, I'm not sure we are living in the End Times, but this could be a great discussion.

With the invention of the internet and the airplane, hasn't the Gospel been preached around the world? Mathew 24:12 seems to be fulfilled in our current time. Just from personal experience. How do you see it? We might be in the generation of being offended. It seems many people are offended just by believing in a different view point. I don't know. It's crazy world.

What do you think the Abomination of Desolation is? Do you think it already occurred, or do you think it's a future event? What do you think the Mark of the Beast is?

The abomination of desolation was probably when the Zealots barricaded themselves inside the temple during their coup in 67-68AD. Edomite fighters also apparently joined them there. Many Jews fled the city after that happened

That's the prophetic-myopia view of dispensationalism that can only see prophetic fulfillments in modern times rather than in the past for the people they were written to, which is largely caused by an ignorance of history. Josephus wrote that many people fled Jerusalem, which is what Jesus instructed his disciples to do, after the zealots committed their abominations and violated the inner court of the temple. If they hadn't heeded his warning they would have been trapped in the city and perished in the horrors of the Roman siege.

The internal violence led many to flee the city, and according to Josephus, convinced Vespasian to delay his assault on the city, believing the Jews were destroying themselves without Roman intervention.

Even the invention of television would still need satellites to get the signal around the world. Today with cell phones, few see any difficulty in having this aspect possible.

Interesting. I would personally lean towards a future time, since the disciples asked, a question about the end of the world, and second coming. Whether or not it had an early harmonic of fulfillment, the disciples asked, about the end of the world.

The tribulation is also suppose to not be comparable at any time, and after the tribulation, Jesus would return. Jesus didn't return in 80A.D., so I'm not sure it fits scripture. That's just my take.

Do you have any speculation who the two witnesses are? I think heard at one time it was Elijah and Moses. I think also heard it was possible for the two witnesses to be the Old and New Testament.

I know for certain we are in the end times yes, your observations ate correct, many see the same things you do. As for the abomination of desolation it is a dual prophecy one did occur but sadly some thing christ has already returned, that is sad, so no the final one did not occur yet and is to come we need to watch. know that the Jews mostly orthodox Jews have already prepared all that is needed for the future temple in Jerusalem, they are now practising the levitical rituals, sacrifices, I read also all the stones for the future temple are already cut and ready for the construction.

*Current head of the Catholic Church is from Chicago, Vice President is a Catholic, most of the Supreme Court is Catholic. It wouldn't take much for Catholic control of the U.S.. I came to the conclusion not too long ago avter many years of watching events there that they want to get rid of all Palestinians, after Gaza they are moving to other Palestinian territories and will do the same thing, they want back the Land that was given to them by God. around 2019, Israeli policies have increasingly shifted on temple mount and Jewish prayer at the site once forbidden, has quietly been permitted under police protection. this is a major shift. I did verify and there is enough space to build a temple or tabernacle on temple mount but they will not do it until Hamas had been crushed and Israel has full control of the region surrounding the temple mount, I believe they are doing this now in preparation to rebuild the temple.

If is a shame and great evil that Hamas is doing, Palestinians and Jews were getting along OK before Hamas. Hamas is not for the Palestinian people but will have them all killed. Hamas is terrorising and forcing normal peaceful Palestinians to rebellion against israel, under the penalty of death, if they come to you a Palestinian and ask you to join them ot give you something to do you better do it or they kill you or your family, ( the son of a palestinian leader said this publicly in an interview ) they are hostages right now of Israel and Hamas they are in a really bad place right now.

True. Three questions were asked.

2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.




Clearly there are stones stacked up here. Do you think Jesus was referring to just the temple, or the Temple Mount as well?

City of David. Stones are still stacked.

To me it would make more sense, that at the end times, ,when the works of the world are burned up, that would be when Matthew 24 is fulfilled.

So, where is the split in Matthew? I don't know. Maybe I'm splitting hairs here.

I'm open to ideas. I get what you are saying. I think it makes more sense, if it's referring to the end times strictly, but I'm not discounting what you believe entirely, because I don't know for sure. It's an interesting perspective.

How do you account of the stones? You must see it as just the actual temple stones and not any of the foundational stones, because clearly, no matter where you see the Temple Mount, there are still stones stacked on each other.

I'm not claiming authority just sorting it out in my head here.
