Have you noticed how the numbers of such are steadily decreasing?

Musk is going to share his $Trillion pay package with me and staff my mansion and yacht with robofriends who will treat me better than the nasty, irresponsible, incompetent humans I now have to put up with. And my robolimo and robocopter and robojet will afford me the same luxury of not dealing with the nasty fleshlies in travel between my other mansions. Then AI will resolve this material restriction we now exist in and the prophetic replicators and beam-me-up-Scotty travel per the prophet Roddenberry will be here as will human longevity. You're just a delusional prophet of doom.
Why is it that we don't have a "horrified" emoji?

As for this utopia you are laying out you forgot to mention that your mansion and everything else is all on cyberspace and you will access them with Meta's goggles. Also in this so much nicer world run by robots and computers they will calculate return on investment, and if you are not giving them a good ROI, then you are a useless eater. This is the guy who was able to take a knife to waste in the Federal government, you think they will ignore waste from people who are not carrying their own weight?

Again, when did these delusions first appear?

There's no contradiction between my first and second answers BTW.

Whether utopia or sent away to my real mansion for being a useless eater, I win. As for useless eater, when all is just replicated out of thin air - almost like fiat currency - eating up resources will also be overcome, as will ROI. Catch up with utopian splendor please.

We will be judged for every idle word, we cannot later claim we were "joking". If our words lead others astray that is a big deal.

Claim joking before the perfect Judge who knows all Truth and the depths of all hearts? I fully trust His perfect judgment and understanding of any rhetorical tongue-in-cheek commentary I may make about this world and its thinking.

You understand, He understands. That is good. And how about the children who might have been caused to stumble because they didn't understand.

If I consider cutting back on some rhetoric - maybe - will you consider cutting back on some failed prophecy predictions and some of the self-professed "prophets"?

There are people who make it very clear that they are not giving a prophecy so they would not qualify. There are others who have prophetic speakings but if you have a speaking from God it can be as difficult to interpret as the Bible and people run off and make bad interpretations. I don't post any of the bad interpretations, so that doesn't count.

The only one I can remember of late that was prophetic and did give a date was Joshua, and the date was 9/23. But he never said which calendar. By my reckoning there are three valid calendars to consider, one is the Gregorian Calendar which made 9/23 the same day as the Feast of Trumpets. The second is the Julian calendar also in use today and the calendar in use at the time of Jesus and that put 9/23 in the Feast of Tabernacles, a wedding feast. Those dates have come and gone. But surely the Hebrew calendar is also a valid calendar as it is the only God given calendar. 9/23 on the Hebrew Calendar would take us right to the beginning of Hanukkah. So at this point we have two failed interpretations, or if you view the word of God as a two edged sword as I do it is not a failed interpretation yet. On the contrary if the rapture does take place on 9/23 on the Hebrew calendar I would view the 9/23 on the Gregorian calendar the 100th trumpet blast for the Feast of Trumpets announcing the coming of the king.

However, I am not prophesying, nor am I interpreting. I believe hindsight is 20/20. I am simply watching and refusing to pass judgment before the time.

If I consider cutting back on some rhetoric - maybe - will you consider cutting back on some failed prophecy predictions and some of the self-professed "prophets"?
Timing is always the most difficult thing to get and the reason for that is simple, the purpose of the prophecy is not for someone to say "ok, I have three years, I'll wait for three years before confessing and repenting". Prophecy gives you a clear picture of where this road you are on is heading. The real question is "are we closer to that place today, than we were yesterday"? The proper response is to get off the road that leads to perdition and get on the narrow way that leads to life.

You mention failed predictions, plural. I am only aware of one failed prediction, a guy was using predictive programming which admittedly comes from a very suspect source, I have not posted anything from him since and I apologized. That was years ago.

I know some feel that Dana Coverstone had "failed predictions" but I feel they are simply failed interpretations and those who say such things will be judged severely as false teachers.

I also know that many have accused Joshua of being a false prophet. I agree that what he shared was both prophetic and a prediction and it is clearly tied to a date and it is tied to this year. But as I have already pointed out there are three valid calendars which can be used and we have not yet arrived at 9/23 on the God given calendar, so people who say he is a false prophet are judging before the time.

But I would also point out that there is a glittering sword in the heavens approaching the earth and will be here (closest approach of 3i/Atlas) on the middle day of Hanukah. This is a heavenly sign that has appeared twice before indicating judgment on Jerusalem.

Of course, what failed prophecy prediction are you talking about?

Here's one of our past discussions. Reading your part of that post you thought the rapture was in a few weeks. Your next post included some comment about seeing no problem with educated guesses and comparing that to Thomas Edison's many failures before getting it right, which is an absolutely absurd way to consider making written guesses about things like rapture dates based upon your readings of both Scripture and all the posts you post re: current day self-proclaimed "prophets".

IOW, you come across IMO as someone steeped in reviewing such "prophecies" and as a potential affirming voice for them in regard to such things as a rapture and its timing. So, if you're concerned about my rhetoric about this world and its utopian fantasies and how this might be harmful, please consider your own very plentiful work and how it might do what you're concerned about my rhetoric doing.

If I was impressionable I might have cashed in & bought sardines.

I do not see how you can say this is a failed prophetic prediction. You asked me how I was invested and I told you. I never portrayed this as a prophecy, nor did I make any prediction other than what would be of value in a famine. Nor would I call it "failed".

Yes, my comparison is to Thomas Edison saying he had not failed 99 times, rather he had found 99 things that didn't work. I do not claim to have a prophetic word from God so your insinuation that this was a prophetic word is slanderous. Nor was this given as a prediction, it was given as my personal opinion in answer to your question. I advised people to buy silver when it was less than $20 an ounce. Today it is $50. That was not a prophecy, it was an educated guess. But last March I pointed out that having silver in a famine could be useless. Hence my suggestion to buy non perishable food which will greatly appreciate in value during a famine. Again, simply an educated guess.

I said the rapture could be imminent. That is the basic doctrine throughout all of Christianity that the rapture can be at any time. It is far better to be too early than too late. This is what I expected, people taking things that are clearly not a prophecy and claiming they were, clearly not a prediction and claiming they were.

Here is Brenda Weltner doing an exposition on the cover of the Economists magazine.

The Economist Magazine 2026

It is a really good picture of the current world economic situation. It is simply the magazine the Economist view of how things are. But I think it is an accurate view and the picture is insightful, especially because of the tremendous detail all in one picture.

This picture also says that this could be "imminent". She interprets the red cord to be an artery pumping blood and there are scissors that could cut this cord at any second.

In conclusion I have agreed to put a stop to this, and in my opinion "this" refers to answering personal questions from you that could be seen as advice but will be twisted into "failed prophetic predictions". Personally I consider that to be slander, so I will stop responding to those who trade in slander.

The word prophecy refers to speaking on behalf of God, much like the President's press secretary speaks on behalf of the president. Studier trying to say that my personal opinion in that post was a "prophecy" was slander. There was absolutely nothing to insinuate from that Post that I was claiming to speak on behalf of God.

It could be described as a personal prediction, but not as a "Prophetic prediction". A prophetic prediction is a specific kind of prophecy. Again, this is slander to say that the post was a prophetic prediction. That is a twisting of what I said and a misrepresentation which is one form of a lie.

Then can it be described as "failed"? A can of sardines can be stored for 3-5 years. If this were a famine I am pretty sure no one would have a problem eating sardines that are bought five years earlier. Second, if that is all you have to eat I highly doubt you would be saying "I wish I had not followed that advice". So no, it cannot be described as a failed prediction. That is simply false.

There is absolutely nothing wrong in the Bible with having an opinion. Romans makes it clear if you are otherwise minded from God He will adjust you. However, lying, and twisting what people say so that you can claim it is a failed prophecy, that is very serious. Someone who claims another person is a false prophet will be judged with the same judgement they are judging others.

Here's your post with my highlights:

"Everything I have is invested in the heavens. That said, as much as possible I have left preparations for anyone who will be left behind. My understanding is this: a can of sardines will be worth its weight in gold. Same thing with a can of beans or a bottle of water, etc. Second, at this point silver is also something that will appreciate greatly.
Personally I don't know how valuable it will be during a famine, however, I think the first six months after the rapture it might have real value.
Immediately after the rapture I expect there to be something on the order of 100 million refugees in the US fleeing the coasts. If you live within five miles of the US coastline or if you live in one of the major cities on the coast it is too late to sell your house. However, if you had silver it might make your flight easier. I don't know.
I would have thought everyone would have already fully braced themselves, I think we are less than a month away and maybe less than two weeks away from the rapture."

How about if I change my statement to "failed prophetic guess" - are you more comfortable with this - still slanderous, or more accurately libelous?

As long as you speak constantly of prophecy, post video after video from obscure sources with manipulated photos showing global devastation, point to "prophet" after "prophet", pivot from the actual time-lined rapture thought to some alternate event with the Pope when notified that the rapture didn't take place as thought (see same thread around April 3), speak of actual time-lined raptures as imminency, all is well?

Imminency is to be always prepared. You did not say "the rapture could be imminent", which is essentially pointless if one believes in imminency.

You clearly said you thought everyone should be fully braced and that you thought "we are less than a month away and maybe less than two weeks away from the rapture."

Your date-setting of less than one month did not occur.

The words "I think" makes it very clear this is my opinion. Why are you trying to call this a prophecy?

No, you claim that I have multiple "prophetic predictions" that have failed. Then you refer to something that in no way was prophetic. You can call it my personal prediction, but you can't say that it has failed. Everyone knows that cans of food are good for a few years. Come back in six years and lets see if this prediction has failed. I will agree that if there is no famine by the year 2032 then it is a "failed prediction".

So at this point you have not pointed to a single prophetic prediction and you have not pointed to a single failed prediction that I have posted.

A can of sardines goes for $1.25. If during a famine they cost 10x that or even 100x that and this famine takes place prior to 2032 you got a fantastic return on your investment.

Your thoughts were wrong and your projected time frames were wrong.

Prophetic can refer to forthtelling or foretelling.

The rapture is prophecy.

Imminency is not date setting.

You put forth your thought about the timing of the prophetic rapture in a foretelling manner. You set dates in the form of times frames from a certain date. Your prophetic prediction failed. Your inference that we should all be braced for your foretelling of a specific time frame was at best misplaced.

Have you retained your supply of sardines?

24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;

25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:

26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;

27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.

28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:

29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord:

30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.

31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.

32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.

33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

Is there something there that says to set dates for the rapture?

I've understood imminency for about 40 years and have pursued The Faith and have been learning to live accordingly. In the earlier years some of the sensationalism was of interest. Then I settled into growing up and not being made merchandise of.

In 2021 I sold my house and moved from NYC. We closed a few months later and a week later interest rates went up. Had we waited just a little we would have seen a significant drop in the money we got after the mortgage was paid off. By doing this we moved to cash which is what the Billionaires do. Post 2578. I was simply following the Lord, based on the Prophet Joel and realizing the vaccine mandate was illegal. In 2022 I recommended to others to buy silver when it was less than $20 an ounce. This is the second thing that the billionaires did, move from cash to commodities to avoid losing money to inflation. If I hadn't done that we would have lost at least 20% of our purchasing power with the cash, instead I have more than doubled its purchasing power by moving to a commodity.

These things take time, if you did not move immediately to sell your house (for those living in NYC) it would have cost you money and it has become progressively harder and harder to sell. I suspect if I were to sell now I would have lost all of my equity. Likewise if you compare 100k vs buying silver with the 100k in 2022 it would be like having 80k vs 200+k. But this took three years. Likewise with NYC. Yes, interest rates went up but it has slowly gotten worse and worse until this Mamdani guy gets elected and now there is a general exodus causing real estate to truly fall.

Your mistake is thinking my advice was to you personally. If God is warning people He is warning everyone. He is not going to tell everyone to brace for a total collapse one week before the collapse. If everyone runs to the store you have a panic and it is not feasible.

But I look back and our moving from NYC was perfectly timed, we are thrilled with how that turned out, couldn't have been better. Same with the move to silver and like I said if there is a famine a can of sardines could be worth 10x what it is now. Doesn't matter if it is this month, this year, six months from now or even two years from now. Your sardines will still be the best investment you ever made.

Which is why Proverbs 1 concludes "whoever listens to me will dwell safely".
