Still says anger. Can’t get around that. You are also making a universal statement on man, by saying man’s anger isn’t righteous, but man’s anger can be righteous.

I’m not saying Paul said to be angry. I’m saying if what you are saying is true, then Paul sinned by essentially saying you can be angry, as in it’s not wrong to get angry, just not sin in anger.

Jesus was both man and God (Col. 2:9). Read Romans 8:3

Jesus goes to Abraham, sends His angels to exfiltrate Lot's family before He does the following to the cities of the plain.

@RandomFollowerofJesus Paul didn’t say to be angry as in go be angry as a lifestyle. Paul is saying when you are being angry, sin not. He separates the emotion of anger from sin, which is what you are not doing. You are saying do not be angry because it’s sin, but Paul makes a distinction. That you can be angry and it not be wrong, which is why he says when you’re angry, to be angry, yet sin not.

Wrath is sin, not anger. Anger (ὀργή orge) below means wrath, as it is used in Revelation for the wrath of God

That’s gotta be talking about a different kind of anger, otherwise Paul would be contradicting himself in that very letter in v26. Just like there’s a different kinds of jealousy. Godly jealousy (2 Cor. 11:2), and jealousy/envy that is ungodly (Rom. 1:29).
Verse 26 is actually a different word derived from orge. Orge appears to mean anger that is expressed in violence and revenge. So if you get provoked or enraged, don't sin by acting on it, ie, wrath

1. to provoke or enrage.
2. (passively) become exasperated.

That’s kind of how I understood it. An anger that causes one to sin, we are to control that.
