Two years ago, I adopted the most beautiful dog. He is a maltese/sheltie mix. He was born with a deformed front leg, but gets along just as well as any other dog. His name is Nemo, after "finding Nemo'' because of his "lucky'' paw.

But today, he has been limping really bad on his hind leg that is on the same side as his "lucky'' paw. Which is makin' it difficult for him to walk and move around. I have had to help him up all day because he can't really bear weight on that side.

I am asking that you all pray for a fast and speedy recovery for him and that whatever is wrong with his leg will be nothing serious.

I love him so much and he is my best friend.

Please send your prayers :(

Jesus I know you care for all our needs, my sister in Christ needs healing for her companion. please touch and remove the infirmity in Nemo's legg.
In Jesus Name Amen

P.S.
You can go to the pet store and get MSM or go to Farm animal store and get DMSO. Both are from the same family...just used differently.
Do a search online, they use DMSO on horses and live stock.

Praying for fast and immediate healing for cute lil Nemo! :)
Hugs and kisses and loads of good wishes for the lil Nemo that found you/you found. :D

Thanks everyone for your prayers :) He still isn't doing to well, but I'm hoping with all your help he will start to feel better

God you have given us a capacity to love and my sister loves her dog. Jesus take care of the situation so that you will be glorified, her companion and friend won't suffer unnecessarily and that my sister will see your hand in the situation. Lord we love you and we are so grateful that you care about the things we care about and that nothing is too small to bring before your throne. We thank you for being God and knowing just how to comfort us. Amen.

Oww... I wish to praying as well for your dog. We also love our dog very much. Know how it feels like. *Hugs*

Nemo is still not doing very well and his limp is getting worse. He has an appointment with our local vet this afternoon, and I hoping it is nothing serious. But I live on a fixed income and if it cost too much to fix him I may have to get him put to sleep. I really do not want it to come to that because I have raised him since he was a tiny baby and I've come to think of him as my own child and my best friend. I am really hoping it's just a pulled muscle or something minor, I would really miss him if I had to get him put to sleep. Please send your prayers that everything goes well at the vet this afternoon, I will post an update later of how he is doing.

I will pray for the best for you and him, in Jesus name Amen

Let me know how things went.

Oww, I will pray for him this afternoon as well. I really hope too that it won't be as bad as you'd need to put him to sleep. That'd be so awful. :( Yeah, do keep us updated, please. -God Bless-

Hey everyone, sorry I forgot to give an update after the vet yesterday. But it looks like there is something wrong with the bones in his knee on the rear leg. They are going to try and fix it first with some pills that reduce swelling and if that doesn't work he is going to have surgery. But thankfully, my parents have offered to help pay for the surgery if it comes to that :) But I'm hoping these pills do the trick.

Brandy;

I hope and pray your dog will be all fine again, or at least having the sign of recovery.

Awesome your parents wants to help paying for the surgery if that is needed. Nemo is so lucky and blessed having you and your family as owners, that you even are willing to pay for him becoming all fine again. For so many a dog is just seen like a dog, they don't see nor understand that dogs also do have feelings, and needs being loved and taken well care of. God sees to your heart, and I am sure that He is very very happy about your stand in this, as well as all your given love to this dog.

God bless you.

Thank you so much everyone for your support and prayers! I will continue to keep you posted as we move along further with Nemo's ttreatments

Thank you for the update, I will pray the pill will work! May God bless you both!

Hi everyone, Just an update on Nemo. He was to the vet yesterday and as long as he stays on these pills he should be alright. She is going to check him again in a couple months and see how he is doing. I'm hoping no surgery is going to be required.

Thank you so much for the update, I do love my dogs, so my heart goes out to you. I will pray. God bless
