How long do you think God would allow Islam to exist? Do you think the coming one-world government will be controlled by Muslims? I personally don't think so. I believe the globalists are just using that religion and its useful idiots for their current porposes and then do away with that religion along with all the rest per book of Revelation when the fool antichrist declares himself as a god.
Another thing that makes me think it will be rendered powerless by the time of the fool antichrst"s faux-ascension is that the kings of the east will be crossing the Euphrates - there doesn't seem to be any opposition to this from Muslims who would normally controll this area.

Those are my tentative thoughts, as well. It feels like they are being led - temporarily - to believe they'll be in charge. I likened it to hitler's brown shirts. Whichever way this goes, there's no end of power hungry fools who are in for the ultimate shock.
God allows Islam to exist for His own purposes. When Israel turned away from God, it was idolatrous nations that oppressed and even enslaved them. The once Christian world has largely forsaken God. God has permitted Islam to flood those nations, and that includes the not so United kingdom. There is some reaction against Islam in some nations. Will it be enough? I don't know. I also believe that Islam, Catholicism and Judaism will merge to form a world wide religion controlled by the Antichrist. There is already a religion known as Chrislam. Catholics call Islam an "Abrahamic" religion. A number of Jews believe this fallacy and try to unite the three. And some protestants also fall for this deception.
In the UK, Islam is so entrenched that I believe only a military take over can reverse it. When the supposed "defender of the faith" is more inclined to defend Islam than Christianity, it's obvious that the country is seriously messed up.
Satan knows that one of his best weapons is religion. Marx was right, religion is the opiate of the masses. Christianity is not a religion. It is a relationship with God through Christ. Religion hates Christianity.
Lord Jesus was revealed to destroy the works of the devil. Religion in general is Satan's work. And it will be destroyed. It's a matter of when, not if.
When the antichrist does away with all religions, do you think Muslims will embrace him as their god? Can they be fooled to think he is allah or whoever religious figure they are waiting for? I dont know if Christians will be the only ones resisting him even unto death. There has to be other groups.
For those wondering, Broken Arrow is a suburb of Tulsa whose only Muhammad worship center was at a university with foreign students which was mere decades age.

One way the antichrist can endear himself to the world is to get rid of Islam and render it powerless. I think when he destroys it as part of that temporary one-world religion, the whole world will be so grateful and relieved, thinking he's a mega-chad. This will make it easy for them to worship him and take his precious mark. 
That's how they take over.
1. Plant a small community.
2. Build a mosque or center.
3. Infiltrate local government and education.
4. Import more family, etc., bulk up numbers.
5. Establish sharia law.
Will the antichrist go for that? Because that means they are not under his control. I can see him destroying them for that.

But it doesn't stop there, after they establish Sharia law they put all kinds of draconian rules on women, Christians, and anyone who is not muslim. Then the government is filled with Islamic extremists like rats multiplying, the economy crashed, the rest of the world tries to separate themselves from them, soon even the water is gone so that they want to move the city of Tehran. Then at that point people wake up that they are being led by a bunch of pirates who are idiots and they protest. Then a bunch of people are shot dead in the street. But then they are kicked out and strung up for crimes against humanity.
When you think about it, they're already under 'his' control. Obviously in the long run, whatever happens is in God's will. As to the details, I can only guess how it might go down and it's dependent on many variables. Only God knows at this point.
I'm reading about other anitchrists and they tend to head off anything that they think will compete with them for control. I agree the globalists are using Islam currently to oppress people and countries. But I think there will come a time when Islam won't have the hold it wishes it had. I say this because reading about antichrists like Hitler and Stalin, they are very big on killing people that will be competition to them. Look at Osama bin Laden, dead when his usefulness ran out.
I see that people are frightened and worried about Islam becoming dominant, but I think the globalists are just using them as a smokescreen, a distraction so that their one-world government plans go forward without confrontation or opposition.
I think that the "Antichrist" is no different from all the previous ones for the last 2,000 years. However, the mask is off, the pretense is gone, Satan knows his time is short and so he is giving everyone an ultimatum, worship him or die. This is what you do when you are desperate and you are losing and you have a few hostages and the whole thing is going to end in a shootout.Do you really think the antichrist will allow that? He won't share control with anyone else.
When their usefulness ends, he's going to render them powerless killing it's influencial heads. Other antichrists have done this before. It's nothing new.
