I'm just curious where people usually find them. Like through chruch, or through a friend of a friend or something like that.

I met my wife here in CC.

I enjoy looking at the expressions of gasp of people who ask how we met and we answer "online"

Shock! Horror! lol

A lot of married couples met in college. A lot of them met through their work. That was the old days. Now you can probably meet someone through facebook or your iphone. lol

I'm going to get laughed at for my answer. But 2 of them I met through martial arts... and the rest through the internet.

Mostly through work and friends for me. There are no single men my age at my church.

I once found one tied up in my cellar. Completely forgot I'd put her there.

Actually... I like reading this missed connections (I hope one day I get one... it's sad I know) anyways! I saw one for my sister on there and she was so embarrassed! I was like "DUDE! IT'S YOU!!! ROTFL!"

I actually met a REALLY good friend of mine through Craigslist. she and I are both single mothers. We hang out as much as we can. As of lately not as much since I have school.

Right?

The ones I've met in the past are usually through school, church, other such groups and organizations, and yes...two through the Internet.

The best advice I can give is get involved and put yourself out there. Church groups, school, voluntary organizations, etc. No one ever met their SO by sitting in a hole waiting for God to drop someone from the sky.

She just needed to sing the True Love Kiss song and wait for her prince to come and sing along with her. Why cant we all do that ? :(

OMG! When I was 4 years old I told my mom I was going to go to the "Man" store and find me a man. I seriously thought there was a huge store like Wal Mart where I could go and talk to someone to help me pick out what I wanted.

I wish it was only that easy!

I think God played a massive role in me and my husband finding each other, but this is how it worked out-

My nephew's dad ran a message board. For some reason he invited me to join it.

For some reason, I joined it.

There was this really obnoxious guy there who seemed to argue with pretty much everything I said. He followed me around for months online.

Finally I told him to just ask me out and get it over with cause I couldn't stand the school yard nonsense anymore.

He asked me out.

Now we're married.

I've already tried that. A group of cyclists keep popping out of nowhere when I try to sing.

*shrugs*
