When it comes to the doctrine of free will will, of human conscience being the final decision over salvation

Is it more Catholic than protestant

There is no simple answer. Many cannot even agree on how to define free will. Calvinists say no to free will, Methodists disagree.
for some wannabe calvinists it may be, but not true from a doctrine from a real genuine degree from professor in the theology and philosophy, who teaches the five points of tulip, in away I've never heard anyone here talk about them.

He says that everyone has free will, but that free will is the problem in mankind because it's suffered radical corruption.

Where as Catholics teach in purgatory, you can pray for somebody in paradise, and receive there suffering, which frees them from paradise and then makes you a saint like them.

So there teaching human free will has the final authority over salvation.

I base free will on two scriptures in the Bible.

Chose today whom you will serve.
There are two roads explained by jesus, one leads to destruction the other to eternal life.

Also the blessings and cursing which are found in the old testament.

God is a just God and has layed out everything clearly and plainly. All of creation is in his design.
