I was going to specify Banaue (which I learned of reading the wiki article that the search of the history of rice cultivation led to) so, I'd like to accept this award on behalf of all the stir-fried rice I've enjoyed throughout my lifetime. Thank you, very much.

The next password is a place.

You've made 10 posts and two of them have been ventures to change my posts to mention webcams. I'm not interested in webcams.

Pretty sure I know the answer but I've been playing a silent game of literary chicken with you because neither of us wants to post the next riddle 😂
I've noticed! I really need to stay out of the singles forum though. I forget that my marital status isn't public.

I was under the impression that [at least some of] y'all "couldn't handle" a password puzzle lasting for more than a day or so - as in, considered it too difficult if it couldn't be solved within a day or so - I personally don't care/mind if it goes on for days - I like the challenge...

However, the not-being-able-to-login thing has been a real hassle. I didn't want to be "locked out" for over a day at a time (it happens) while "hosting" a puzzle.

Did I scare everyone away?

I will probably be more than happy to be 'gracious' after I have decided that I am no longer having to deal with all of the weird stuff.

If you left a stumper
Rather than a dumper
Then every guess
would be another bumper

Considering that folks are hesitant to create new password puzzles --- do you see how it can be profitable for all if someone creates a password puzzle with a bit of a challenge that takes several days before it is solved...?

Everything is a trade off - would you rather have simple puzzles more often or challenging puzzles less often?

My mental capacity to fulfil my reign is currently zapped.

Perhaps @GaryA would be so gracious as to offer us another colossal stumper while this time, keeping patience to resist the compulsion to answer it himself. I mean, what is the record for longest running unsolved riddle anyway?
My "lack of patience" came from no one making any guesses to try to solve the puzzle. The reason for giving away the answer was to "get it over with"...

When enough people decide that it is worth their while to play this game - then - it will become truly worthwhile - but, probably not before...

I would like to be able to say that it is just as worthwhile with only two or three playing it (it certainly should be); however, it has simply not been my experience.

Folks are getting tired of playing the game. Why? Because, not enough other people seem to want to play the game.

I really think that it is going to take ten or more people playing it to make it truly worthwhile on an ongoing basis.

So - where is everyone?!?!?! We need more players - don't be shy - join in on the fun! :)(y)

I am thinking that @Talljake - being the OP of the thread - is in the best position to promote "more people playing means more-and-better fun" - but, that is strictly up to him - I understand if he simply does not have the time any more to put any effort into keeping the game/thread going.

Anyone/Everyone - if you agree with me that it would be better and more fun if more folks played the game - don't be silent - express it - invite others to play the game...

Gary, I think you are one of the few people knowledgeable enough to be able to teach AI to have a sense of humour!
