Chapter 13 notable verses to me , verse 6-14 Howl ye ; for the day of the LORD is at hand ; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty .
Therefore shall all hands be faint , and every man's heart shall melt :
And they shall be afraid : pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them ; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth : they shall be amazed one at another ; their faces shall be as flames .
Behold , the day of the LORD commeth , cruel both with wrath and fierce anger , to lay the land desolate : and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it .
For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light : the sun shall be darkened in his going forth , and the moon shall not cause her light to shine .
And I will punish the world for their evil , and the wicked for their iniquity ; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease , and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible .
I will make a man more precious than fine gold ; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir .
Therefore I will shake the heavens , and the earth shall remove out of her place , in the wrath of the LORD of hosts , and in the day of his fierce anger .
And it shall be as the chased roe , and as a sheep that no man taketh up : they shall every man turn to his own people , and flee every one into his own land .

Chapter 14 , is a prophecy about the restoration of Israel and the destruction of its enemies , namely the king of Babylon , Assyria and Palestine . Some people apply verses 12-16 to satan ( supernatural being ) but if we read closely in verse 16 ; is this the MAN that made the earth to tremble .
Chapter 15 is the end of Moab as is Ch 16 , verse 5 is a nice one , pointing to Christ . 17 and 18 speak about the end of Damascus and Ethiopia as powers burdening Israel . Chapter 19 is a bit different , it speaks of the reconciliation of the Egyptians to the one God of Israel . Verses 18-25 ; In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan , and swear to the LORD of hosts ; one shall be called , The city of destruction .
In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt , and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD .
And it shall be for a sign and a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt : for they shall cry into the LORD because of the oppressors , and he shall send them a saviour , and a great one , and he shall deliver them .
And the LORD shall be know to Egypt , and the Egyptians shall know the LORD in that day , and shall do sacrifice and oblation ; ye , they shall vow a vow unto the LORD , and perform it .
And the LORD shall smite Egypt : he shall smite and heal it : and they shall return even to the LORD , and he shall be entreated of them , and shall heal them .
In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria , and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt , and the Egyptian into Assyria , and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians .

Isaiah chapter 20 , Isaiah is instructed by God to walk around completely naked as a sign to his people , verse 3+4 ; And the LORD said , Like as my servant Isaiah hath walked naked and barefoot three years for a sign and a wonder upon Egypt and upon Ethiopia ;
So shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners , and the Ethiopians captives , young and old , naked and barefoot , even with their buttocks uncovered , to the shame of Egypt .

Chapter 22 , a dual prophecy concerning Eliakim the sin of Hilkiah but also pointing ahead to Jesus , verses 21-24 ; And I will clothe him with thy robe , and strengthen him with thy girdle , and I will commit thy government into his hand : and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem , and to the house of Judah .
And the key if the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder ; so he shall open , and none shall shut ; and he shall shut , and nine shall open .
And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place ; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father's house .
And they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father's house , the offspring and the issue , all the vessels of small quantity , from the vessels of cups , even to all the vessels of flagons .

Chapter 25 another if my favourites , here r a few of my favourite verses from it ; verse 1 , O LORD, though art my God I will exalt thee , I will praise thy name ; for thou hast dine wonderful things ; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth .
Verse 4 , For thou hast been a strength to the poor , a strength to the needy in his distress , a refuge from the storm , a shadow from the heat , when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall .
Verses 6-9 And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people , and the Vail that is spread over all nations .
He will swallow up death in victory ; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces ; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth : for the LORD hath spoken it .
And it shall be said in that day , Lo , this is our God ; we have waited for him , and he will save us : this is the LORD ; we have waited for him , we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation .

, And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things , a feast of wines on the lees , of fat things full of marrow , of wines on the lees well refined .
Chapter 26 is entirely awesome , there r several particularly interesting verses that I especially love , anyone wants to comment I'm all ears ,verse 2-4 Open ye the gates , that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in ( Christians of all countries make up that nation , scattered all over the earth , we will all b one together in Christ at his return ) .
Thou will keep him in perfect peace , whose mind is stayed on thee : because he trusteth in thee .
Trust ye in the LORD for ever : for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength :
Verses 8+9 , Yea , in the way of thy judgements , O LORD , have we waited for thee ; the desire of our soul is to thy name , and to the remembrance of thee .
With my soul have I desired thee in the night ; yea , with my spirit within me will I seek thee early : for when thy judgements are in the earth , the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness .
Verses 12-14 , LORD , thou will ordain peace for us : for thou hast also wrought all our works in us .
O LORD our God , other lords beside thee have had dominion over us : but by thee only will we make mention of thy name .
They are dead , they shall not live ; they are deceased , they shall not rise : therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them , and made all their memory to perish . ( Anyone any thoughts on that last verse ? It ties in nicely with verse 19 )
Verse 19-21 , Thy dead men shall live , together with my dead body shall they arise . Awake and sing , ye that dwell in dust : for thy dew is as the dew of herbs , and the earth shall cast out the dead .
Come , my people , enter thou into thy chambers , and shut thy doors about thee : hide thyself as it were for a little moment , until the indignation be overpast . ( Always makes me think of the first Passover in Egypt ) .
For , behold , the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity : the earth also shall disclose her blood , and shall no more cover her slain .

Wherefore the Lord said , Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth , and with their lips do honour me , but have removed their heart far from me , and their fear towards me us taught by the precept of men :
Therefore , behold , I will proceed to do a marvelous work among this people , even a marvelous work and a wonder : for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish , and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid .
Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD , and their works are in the dark , and they say , Who seeth us ? and who knoweth us ?
Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potters clay : for shall the work say of him that made it , He made me not ? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it , He had no understanding ?
Verse 18-21 ; And in that day shall the death hear the words of the book , and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity , and out of darkness .
The meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD , and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel .
For the terrible one is brought to nought , and the scorner is consumed , and all that watch for iniquity are cut off :
That make a man an offender for a word , and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate , and turn aside the just for a thing of nought .
