It is not going well, that much is obvious and when you stated "chaos" in one of your posts you were right on, .. this is now a regional war and could expand with no exit ramp for the US.

DT wants to negotiate now... but last week they sent the negotiating team back to their country to present it to their leaders... and then bombed the building where they talks were being held.
I think whatever was left of the "good faith" factor is gone.

The whole world is learning that the US can't be trusted. The Saudi's are complaining that the US abandoned them in order to protect Israel. Which of course they did because they were just using them

Exactly right ......and has been this way for a long time going back to the need/greed for oil in the 1950's all well documented ......and that little nation yes the other part of the big picture.

Are you kidding? The Saudis wanted to knock off the Iranian mafia as did many gulf states.
Publicly they say one thing, privately they are at the table planning the regime change.

I am thinking that the War Department assessment is that they are winning.
Now they will press the advantage. Full regime change, US bases, the works.

If we control the airspace over Iran then we also have wiped out their command and control center and their communications.

Not only so, remember our Venezuela attack where we were able to neutralize 200 men guarding his compound instantly. We can now seize control of any compound we need, we can fly in with Helicopters, etc.

Since Israel is preparing 100,000 soldiers and since this is a populist movement which will likely get another 100,000 Iranians IRGC is cornered with their back against the wall. However, they still have ballistic missiles, drones and perhaps nuclear bombs.

If ignorance is bliss, you must a happy, happy individual. Iran is Shia, most of the Middle East is Sunni. Shia and Sunni consider each other to be heretics. Since violence is at the core of Islam, it is hardly surprising that the Sunni nations seek the help of even non Muslim nations. Iran has been funding, training and arming proxies with the intent of spreading Shia Islam world wide.

Sunni nations are more than happy to see the end of the Iranian regime. Shia Islam believes that Israel must be destroyed before their "messiah" returns. And if Iran manages to destroy Israel, America is next.

Sunnis have been doing the vast majority of anti-West violence for the past two decades.

Throttling Chinese oil supply?

That's a good thing.

Not only are we putting down the moslem terrorists in Iran to slow down them spreading terrorism all over the world, we are also hurting China's economy who is the biggest long term threat to the world who have the communist mandate to achieve world domination

Liberal fear mongering and propaganda

Why? If you listened to it then you should know and if you didn't listen to it what does that say about your post condemning it?

I think you cannot see it because you think this is all prophetic.

All linked to IRGC/Basij regime mafia orgs no doubt.....

That's where we eagerly await more news on the side tangent that cv5 actually touched on earlier in post 918; the striking the Zagros Mountains. Not only do they have many bunkers and complexes built into these mountains. Really our bunker busters aren't seen as a big tech marvel, but if you think about it we're the only country with super advanced bunker busters and they're a game canger bigly. Iran, unlike Venezuela have a lot of hardcore fortress dug into mountains that form a natural geographic shield in their West. This is why last year the fact Hegseth was able to easily pierce their mountain nuclear facilities was a big deal. This operation further demonstrates this tech edge for USA, but is also gonna get tested even more.

While the Zagros Mountains are where s their cutting edge technollogical researches (nuclear weapons, drones, ai, cyberwarfare hubs, etc.). Besides their more obvious airforce and drone capabilities, really the more interesting targets at the moment might be where a lot of their equipment for more electronics and sensory equipment and communications capabilities that are based here not just for fortification but really because the high altitude (think like even just basic radar). Destroying these deals an incredibly significant immediate blow to the temporal-technical capabilities of the IrRGC military and regime, it will be like like crippling their eyes, ears, and tongues all in one (their sensory organs) and kneecapping them (crippling some of their drones, missiles, and more standard air ordinance/assets as well as future research) at the same time..

Old articles but some context for why in the short term you might want to consider Zagros Mountains for the geography bee..
